I've also included games that you have put on the back burner with the intention of finishing them off at some point. Feel free to elaborate on any of the games you list. MedicSN6 Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 Besides this past week/week and a half where I haven't really had time to play games save for a few hours broken up, these are the games I have been playing: Evochron Mercenary (Still mining for an upgraded ship) I am really enjoying this game. Mincecraft - A staple of my gaming week ArmA2 - I really like the Undead mod but other than finding weapons and kit and killing zombies, it's pretty pointless. I think it would be better if there were some other elements to the mission (like rescues, defend position, or escorts) where you only had to engage the zombies if you absolutely had to but otherwise you would avoid them to accomplish your missions. I need to play some of of the Spartan made missions again. I always enjoy those. I also played some L4D2 with the English/Euro guys the other night. As always, their humor and game styles always make it a very enjoyable time. Cheers. A few rounds of Black Ops and BF:BC2 here and there, but it gets frustrating after a bit of no real teamwork going on. I need to finish Amnesia. Terraria - Still enjoying; these guys are good at putting out more content each week than having to constantly deal with bugs. Its 2D but more challenging than minecraft; its an open world but has some kind of goal, can build, but tons of monster/boss/weapon/loot/armor combos - kind of like Metroid+minecraft+castlevania. Set up a dedicated server. Bad Company 2 - Spawn, die, spawn, die.. stab stab stab. Good ole game, but the server that Griz picked seemed like a free for all spawn rape festival. Minecraft - Fixing Server to Bukkit 1.6 support. I think most things work now, but if you teleport through the stargate it thinks you move too far too fast and boots you from server as if you were a hax0r. Arma 2 - Just to make sure game was running well on my 46" Samsung LED TV which I set as my main monitor. Evochron Mercenary - Still debating if I like this game or not. Couldn't get my Xbox controller to work well as it was too sensitive and constantly making me rotate in space (+ 46" TV = immediate vomit reaction from my wife). Outside that, its a constant job to mine resources, etc. And the multi-player on this is not that great, seeming you apparently share your quest with everyone else in the server at the same time..? Hajimoto and I were very confused. Oh yeah.. Brink - took the server down because logs showed not many were using it and it takes a bunch of resources. If you guys want it back up, let me know. As far as why I don't play Minecraft as much anymore - its getting stale. The amount of content these guys are putting out on the game is very slow and most of their work has to do with bugs. To me, MC needs more plot driving options, more creatures to fight, deeper worlds to dig through, and more options to create items or find things. I would love it if you were venturing out in minecraft and came upon a house with some guy living in it, etc. Otherwise, its just the normal creeper around the corner. ARMA II (also other servers )(many differences sometimes ) old games : GTA IV (this was always some brainless fun ) CITIES XL 2011 ( thought this was better ) SIMCITY 4 deluxe (the best ever ) CIV IV (beyond the sword ) (the best ever ) still looking for that one game .... i use to like commandos but they stopped making them ...
