DaiSan Posted October 10, 2011 Share Posted October 10, 2011 So, now some people have played the Beta I was wondering, as a squad/team/community... whatever, what are people thinking of specialising in a particular class? I don't mean that is ALL you will play, but obviously with the unlock/perk system it would make sense to choose a 'Base' class and try to get that up to speed first. If we are intending to play as a 'Platoon' then a good mix of classes is essential so I thought we could get a jump start and see what people preffered. Personally I would happily fill in any role that was lacking in numbers. If I had to choose then I played mostly 'Support' in the Beta and enjoyed dishing out the ammo etc. I've added a poll but please post your thoughts too. Based on play so far my role preference will be: Support Assault Engineer Recon I like supporting functions so dishing out ammo or meds work for me. As with BC2 I will look to rank up my first two choices in tandem. Rooster90 Posted October 10, 2011 Share Posted October 10, 2011 (edited) Mostly Assault. Has the weapons I enjoy the most while being able to revive and heal. Plus smoke nades later on. After that, Recon is my second favorite. 1-3 shot kill weapons, very easy to use that class aggressively without using a scope. Mobile respawns are HUGE. SVD + ironsights = OP, lol. Towards the end I put a couple of hundred kills under my Support class due to the fact that most players were self focused and a good team needed supplies to push forward.
