Thats right. V0.8 of the Arena Commander is now out to download! This is the first of a few major parts to the full release that will allow everyone to fly in MP settings in all the game modes. This is the first time we can officially fly some of our ships! IF you have any Auroras, 300I or hornet ships you will have access to the basic version fo them for this part of the release. IF you dont have any of those ships, you will be giving one based on how much you've pledged for. This release includes the free flight mode for everyone along with the Vanduul Swarm. Fight against waves of Vanduul fighters in those mode. As time goes on and they ramp up servers and test stability more and more people will get access to the MP side of the game based on Citizen numbers. For now, ENJOY! From what they actually had running and showed, I'm stupidly excited still for this. Just need to polish a few things from what they showed and we will be awesome.

CIG is at Pax East and todays the big day that they show off what they have done for the dog fighting module. This will be shown with their back end servers up and running hopefully so its what we can expect for when they release it to us Im excited to see what they have. This is a game thats fun at the start, then becomes very quickly a hair polling out experience. After level 5, the game pretty much says "Good luck from here on out. Heres a level 30 with tank armor that makes your gun a BB gun while he's shooting nuclear bombs at you"

At least their admitting its in the alpha stages.. More than you get with an EA game

Cent. We need to know what you want to do. If you want to explore, then the 315 would be a better ship. If you want to bounty hunt, then you should look at the Avenger. The nice thing about the 300 series is you can really upgrade, or get it up to a good dog fighter or explorer ship or just a strait up zip around ship. It really comes down to what you want. Personally, I would go for the 300 series ship (350R more spacifically) as I like them a bit more than the Avenger, but I own both so.... =P

Im excited for this, but the one downer to it is that you can only join 1 group at a time.. I have about 3 groups of people that I wanna fly and play with.

I have the Tali as well. I cant wait to see it fully made and in hangar. =) It will be a blast to fly around in. Also cant wait for my Cutlass to be finished. Its sooo close to being done I cant wait any longer. lol
