Support for colourblind players, very much looking forward to what that means as I am colour deficient ( I have problems with some shades of red and green).

Ahem, trees and grass are green and so is a large portion of the uniforms.

 

For example I have a sleight red/green deficiency but if I look at a Rose with a particular shade of red flower I will on first look see maybe 3 flowers a perfect colour vision person will see all (say 8) immediatly. The other flowers appear to me but slowly I have to really stare hard.

Balancing changes have been posted, see them here.

 

Most notable are reduced explosive power of 40mm and Carl Gustav weapons, nerfing of mortars/attack choppers, and reduction in MG damage for the M60, XM8, and PKM LMGs.

 

Well this game just got better.... or worse. It depends on how you look at it.

I'll need to see how this affects the Neostead 2000. Probably no longer a distant one shot kill:

  • Decreased the range of Bolt Action Sniper and Pump Shotgun Slug rounds when using Magnum Ammo for better Kit Balance, especially in Hardcore.
  • Slightly increased the base damage of shotgun rounds and reduced their range to clarify ideal shotgun combat distance.
  • Slightly decreased the benefit from accuracy specializations to balance the changes to range and accuracy tweaks.
  • Slightly increased the Health of soldiers in Hardcore for better Kit Balance.
