Zeno~SPARTA~ Posted June 12, 2010 Share Posted June 12, 2010 The Sparta ACE servers are updating to ACE stable V1.2 today The mod is available for download here http://www.legionofs...mods/ACE2_v1.2/ All in one @SPARTAACEv1.2 + Userconfig available here http://www.legionofsparta.net/downloads/Games/ArmA%202/Mods/Server_allowed_mods/ACE2_v1.2/all_in_one/ Using this you only need to launch one mod instead of four, the choice is yours There will be 3 servers SPARTA_UK - ACE2_v1.2 Running SPARTA_ACEDOM v1.2* SPARTA_US - ACE2_v1.2 Running SPARTA_OPBIGDOM_O1b_ACE SPARTA - ACE2_v1.2 TACDOM Running SPARTA_OPBIGTAC_O1_ACE *(This is xenos latest domination with a modified ammo box - east west weapons plus more ammo and 3 aircraft) The UK server is running now, the rest will be up and running later today Userconfig Remember to update your userconfig folder (this can be found in the ace directory). Also remember to edit ace_clientside_config.hpp and change John Doe to your game name class Identity { name = "John Doe"; }; Keys I have left all the old keys so even if people join with the old version it wont kick them (though they may have performance issues). Zeno~SPARTA~ Posted June 12, 2010 Author Share Posted June 12, 2010 All 3 servers have been updated to v1.2 There is at least one new weapon (HK416 sd with a red dot), So when I have time I will update all the boxes to make sure they all have the latest weapons. The UK server ammo box does have the aforementioned rifle. If anyone notices that other weapons are missing please let me know. So, whats different about this version? Those are some of the best looking models/textures I have seen for ARMA 2 yet, if you have time you should check them out. I'm not sure if we could implement them online (Bravo Team?) they look awesome. BTW, have we removed image posts? I'm not sure if we could implement them online (Bravo Team?) they look awesome. 2 requests please: I'd like to also request that Team Bravo use the TF-86 Seals as Phisher said (will take some variable adding or changing to get special scripts working with classname change if certain scripts are called on by classname). But would in turn like to see Team Echo (*edit) be what was Team Bravo with the "Force Recon" units. Then you can have 2 special ops type squads which look "mad cooler" then the general infantry character types. Also I request that my ACE addons make it to server as well. Easy simple download 1 time, no updates till Operation Arrowhead. Been plenty of testing and it looks solid. Also think you guys will have fun with them! You can add them to your downloads or pack if you like, plenty of good stuff, from Kiowa Warrior and Cluster Bombs, to F-15E/C and F-16 If you downloaded Smokes Complete pack, or Smoke Complete vrs1.1 you have this already, "@S@ACE". Also I request that my ACE addons make it to server as well. Easy simple download 1 time, no updates till Operation Arrowhead. Been plenty of testing and it looks solid.
