I can confirm steam versions have been updated to 1.56.

 

So if anyone has steam and it hasn't started updating yet just restart your steam and it should start downloading.

Greetings all. Got the patch from Steam last night. Look into the Armoury for new weapons,vehicles, and chopper, under (PMC).

There "Lite" till you purchase the Private Military Co. add-on. Auto shotgun AA12, Armoured SUV with top mounted gun.

New chopper. WOO-WHO...

I have added the armoured SUV and the chopper to the public server, I will add the weapons and vehicles to all servers when Jealco gets back to me with what the ACE guys want (and the script names for the weapons).

EBE, just replace your old CBA. alternately, if using spartaace, just ensure the new CBA folder loads after spartaace, and you're good.

I'm sorry for lame question. I had to set up new OS today. I'm installing original Arma2 and OA from the box, this patch 1.56 is all what i need or i have to go true all patches since box version was released?

It should be the only patch you need

 

Install Arma2, then OA (OA patches arma2)

 

Install the 1.56 patch (its a cumulative patch and also updates arma 2).

 

Make sure arma2oa.exe installs to the same directory as arma2.exe.

 

When you install ace replace @CBA with the hotfix mentioned above

I can't get on the Sparta ACE server anymore.

I've installed the patch, put the CBA hotfix in and now I'm getting signature errors for a whole bunch of ACE files. Haven't changed anything since the last time I played ACE, except for the actual game update and hotfix.

donzi, we were trying with the separate ACE components, not updated since the 1.6 release. we replaced the old CBA with the hotfix, then the sig errors started. we're trying the spartaace thing as soon as shinobi's DL finishes.
