Krambo
So I bought the Nvidia GTX a while ago without knowing that it runs really hot, they say its safe and no problem but it bothers me. Many GRID2 racers will hear me moan about this (amongst everything else) as temperatures sore into the 70's C. So after lots of reading I stumbled upon a popular mod that drops the temps dramatically on compatible cards. So i cracked on following this guide.. http://www.overclock.net/t/1263635/antec-kuhler-gtx-480-closed-loop-water-cooling-mod-guide I haven't fully worked out the placement for the radiators yet but it's alot better. Idle temps have dropped from 50 degrees C down to 34 degrees C (running two monitors) Load temps are fantastic, grid 2 on default fan speeds don't got above 60, before hand it was easy at 80 degrees before I increased the fan speed. Just thought I would share. Edit - Not sure where I got the 60 degree temps from.. just took a couple screens whilst playing GRID2 max temp 45 degs  Happy Edited March 8, 2014 by Krambo

custard~SPARTA~
If that is the case does it cover all the bits the old heat sink did? I have read that cheaper water blocks sometimes don't do as good as job as they should and altho it reads as lower temps some parts actually remain quite hot. As long as a little air is passing by the card I guess it shouldn't be too much to worry about.
Athlon64~SPARTA~
Nice, Kram, I would be a little conserned that the tie wraps would losen after awile and cause it to lift off, there are water blocks for vid cards available all over, swifttech, thermaltake and the nice thing is one could have longer hoses to reach the side of the case. Nice mod! Or see if you can use the bracket to mount it. If the ram chips start to get warm there are small heat sinks with cooling fins out there as well. http://koolance.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=29_46 Edited March 9, 2014 by Athlon64~SPARTA~

Yeah i was thinking that, but one of my CPU fans would have to be outside the case as they are both push pull. it has been blasted! many times, just needs a wipe
