Sparta Campaign Chapter 2 - Assault on Balota required addons

As you may know Kavlarakos has started work on Chapter 2 of our campaign, Assault on Balota. When it is ready he will announce it and present the mission parameters, I will tell you it is a special ops night mission requiring stealth.

 

Unfortunately the stock silenced weapons are not suitable for this mission, so we have used the

RH_M4M16_Pack_Rearmed_v102 addon. Idan put me onto this a while ago and it is really good, he asked if we could use it in tac dom, but I could not go through the pain of setting everyone up to run it so we let it drop. Now however it is mission critical so we are giving you advance notice so that you can download it and practice with the weapons.

 

Also, since we have no foothold on Chernarus yet so we will be assaulting from the Khe Sanh, Chernarus does not come with a carrier option so we have had to use the LHD addon

 

I have repacked the RH addon so that it is in the correct format (@RH folder with the addons folder inside). and uploaded to our download site

Finally to help those who like to train with weapons beforehand I have modified the shooting range by adding the RH boxes to every shooting position, This can also be downloaded

Please download the mods and familiarise yourselves with the silenced weapons beforehand (we will only use silenced weapons on this mission).

Arma 2 launchers are the way to go its very easy to turn addons on and off and eliminates the need for lots of shortcuts.

 

In addition, at least on Alpinestars launcher, you can have preset addon groups selectable via dropdown list. With anything using more than a couple addons, it becomes superbly useful.

if im testing the right weapons then that m12sd ftw - two quick rounds and im knocking targets over with ease.

 

that m4 stuff - how close do you need to be for effective range? seems like anything over about 50 metres and you have to aim way above target to hit it. or am i doing something wrong?

If you use the iron sight and silencer over 50-60 meters the accuracy drops bad,you have to aim way high of target in order to hit.

When using the acog with silencer i recommend to use the gmj mod cause over 50 meters you start to add +13 at the moa correction,and you can't hit well at all.

Ok, I downloaded everyything and tested some. it is very nice but i noticed too the SD of course give a real different impact to the fire range.

 

Now i would like to know:

 

When this campaiign is scheduled to happen? how many times per week it will be played?

 

I would love to be part of it, but i have to check the schedule :)
