You can be saying the most loving thing in the world to your spouse, telling him/her how great they are and how good they make you feel, ect. But in German, it sounds as if you want to kill them! Oh, and don't even get me started on German porn. I watched a CD's worth while I was in Iraq and that was by far the most disturbing thing I saw there...
