Zeno~SPARTA~
It's impressive that they keep adding to the game, I would have thought they would just go for Space Engineers 2.
adder360~SPARTA~
Yes, I didn't get to see any of the update but it sounds like it adds quite a lot that moves away from what the game originally was/ is now. I do think there's a whole exploration and encounters side is still not explored. maybe with the introduction of skins and dlc blocks they will be going more down the micropurchase line of income. Cent~SPARTA~
starting to put themselves further and further beyond a paywall. wish they would opt for a SE2 instead
Hunter~SPARTA~
I'm generally not a fan of the paywall concept either, but I don't have an issue with how Keen is doing it. None of the core game functionality is locked behind a DLC. It's mostly cosmetic or "cherry on top" features. And you still have the ability to use mods to fill in the blanks if you choose to not buy the DLC. The fact that the game has been out for so long and they're still listening to the community and responding to what the people want is pretty cool. I agree, it also helps that the initial cost of the game was so reasonable and the DLCs are also nicely priced
