I am installing Arma again as we speak too. What i did was Arma 2 first. Complete install, do not launch at all. Then Arma2 Operation Arrowhead on the same Folder where Arma2 is. I got Arma2 OA from SpRocket (BIS store), That is already the latest ArmaOA patched at 1.59 On top of that I will install BAF and PMC, all of samer folder On top of that I will patch with latest 1.60 patch. I do believe 1.60 goes only on top of 1.59, therefore you have to patch on 1.59 first (if your cversion doesn t come already patched like mine) and then 1.60 EDIT: in meanwhile i m drinking some good red wine.. therefore some issue may arise anyway....

Impressive.. Arma2 really offer a stunning graphic... however too bad for some reason they seem not be able to give this Sim the right Animations. What ruins the Arma experience to me are the character animations, so mechanical, not fluid.. so Unreal when merging in such real background. Unfortunately it seems it will not change in Arma3. Actually i didn t see anythng "stellar" about Arma3...

It should be extremely simple and seamless. You will start the update procedure from within Windows (not boot up external disk). Follow for the "upgrade" procedure. Be preparred it can take MANY hours. I really mean it, 6 or 8 hours. Just let it work. When done all should be seamless. All programs are there, data.. everything. Good luck NB.. of course, things may go wrong.. is Windows after all, but let s keep it positive should not be reason to go wrong

I LOVE The Witcher in general.. 1 and 2. Great game, second only if possible to Assassin Creed trilogy. I played Witcher 2 and was beautiful, i got stuck at the very last fight against a dragon.. never been able to pass that and close the game. It sucks a lil bit. Great game anyway.

I played that for very long time. Now waiting for the new MWO, i don t want ruin the fresh flavor of a new generation game with this old fart. MW4 was not the best incarnation of MW but it was the best we had out at that time(several years ago). I would not suggest anyone to go back on it "today".

A lot of mandatory teamplay but not "coop" such as you and few friends vs Bots. Although i do understand and share the excitment for a new MW game, i would not go back playing MW4. It was not the best MW out there and the game model would ruin my expectations for the new MWO.

Although I didn t even try it, I think possible delay and precision on profile depends on Cam quality, not the program itself. I had several Cams in the past and i noticed the differences between models. I use MSN to video chat with my family and on the "monitor" screen (where you see yourself) depending on Cam quality you can see the delay, the "noise" etc. If this is an excellent program, cannot do anything better than what your Cam can do, therefore if you have a cheap Cam you will have cheap results. Most probably you should choose Cam with very hi-Def (higher def, higher precision on profile) and top line to have best driver support. Cams like this can be easily over 80 bucks

Oh well, when it comes to back up and recover, I think every one has thir favorites. I use Easeus Todo Backup (free) to backup OS partition and a selection of important folders from Data partition to the Network storage on my HTPC. I use Ultimat Boot CD for Windows, based on PE Bart to troubleshoot issues Also have a Linux Boot whit a few tools and g-Part, excellent partiton tool. Then a USB stick with Win 7 Ultimate ready to roll in case of full install.

Just got the 3rd replacement and I am restoring my data.... Count down started to see how long this drive lasts However, I took some precautions: Updated Chipset driver to better SATA controller Changed SATA Port Changed SATA cable and now, crossing fingers

I played the short Reckoning Demo yesterday, I have a bitter flavor in my mouth. I think the game may have potential, but something just fall short... there are a few aspects that seems incomplete or just not refined. This is a Demo, not a beta, so I guess I am expecting this is the game when I but it. It is sorta weird. First of all your characheter is "mute". They didn t give a voice to him/her. I don t like that. There are no expressions from you charachter. During conversation the other charachter you are talking to will "try" to have expressions (miserably failing anyway) but your charachter doesn t even move. I think in RPGs nowaday what makes the difference is the way the story is narrated, how much you connect with your charachter, the feelings you get from the environment. other than that, they are all the same games, Comabt, Classes, levels and all of that crap. if the story-telling and the overall feeling fail, to me the game fail. To me this game fails. There is a huge disconnection. You don t feel part of what you are doing. Graphic-wise i found it sorta of under par with titles are out there and also 1 year old. All seems very unreal, a mix between comic-book and arcadish.. There are some monster are diying in a way tey remind me of killing foes in SuperMario. I am very disappointed.

I do not think is Power related, reason why: Power failure is a PSU failing. Issues become to be random and they happen not necessarely when system is under stress, PSU is just unstable and crashes are happening at any time with several different blu screens. This seems a videocard failure, possible Video RAM failing. Besides the fact it crashes on your games, you may get one Benchmark such as 3dmark 06 and run it, most probably your card will fail. New videocard is the best solution I think.

I know my man.. but actually the word "cheap" and "SATA HDD" are not living together... there is no way to find a cheap drive and if you have a drive, you don t wanna blow it.. That test is not gonna happen... on the other side, ina a week i will have the new replacement.. and here we go... test is gonna happen anyway.. If I fry 3 HDDs in a row.. MB has some issues indeed.. and I am not even sure if WD is gonna send me another replacement either.. However, seriously.. how the controller can be messed up if the SSD is working flawlessy since day 1.. not even a minor hiccup? To try to be safe i will use a new cable and i ll switch to another port (therefore i will never know if the cable and port 1 are damaged, but I am not gonna risk it..)

I have a 750W can t recall the brand right now. thinking again about the SATA controller issue, reason why i do not believe is the controller is because is the same controller handling the SSD. If the controller is at fault, why sometimes doesn t report mismatches to the SSD as well? Actually the issues are on HDD only, connected on port 1, with the same cable. I can connect to a different port and I can change the cable but ... for some reason I don t feel is the culprit. I also have a spare old drive in a draw... is an old 20GB ))))) however it works flawless. I could connect it and use it just to test if my MB is gonna fry it too If it get fried within 4 days, then with NO DOUBT the fucking MB is gone.. @ LUGGS What s the size of you HDD? EDIT: nevermind, i just realized that old HDD is an old IDE, i don t even have the ribbon to connect it and it would be using a different controller, so no sense....

Well, 2 drives in just few days one from the other, of course i have doubts about the SATA controller as well.... On the other side the Murphy Law is something very real, so it is possible 2 drives were failing. I will try the drive with another PC, however if the Boot sector is gone and the MFT is gone as well, (as i had as response using TestDisk tool) i don t know if this would be fixed connecting to another PC. however i have nothing to lose, so i will try that for sure.... If it goes true... hmmm this is gonna be a major replacement then

OK, and the result is... RMA AGAIN!!! This drive lasted 4 days.... Boot Sector gone and MFT gone. Does not format anymore. All data lost again, God bless the backup software i ran just the day before. Besides the massive pain in the ass to go thru an RMA again and having my PC still unusable, at least this time I had no data loss.
