I don´t know why and how but it works again...I am very irritated. But I also checked some german forums for fixing that problem and one guy said the best trouble-shooting is "Waiting". I guess he was right... Anyway thanks for the heads up.

Hey guys, I have an issue with my steam client. After I played Wargame European Escalation last night I got an prompt of Steam saying that the client could not connect to the steam network. So I thought maybe this is just temporariliy and I tried this morning again. But still the same message. I checked the internet for similiar problems and got some suggestions but nothing really worked. Here is what I tried so far: - Reboot system - Opened the task manager to see if there is any process running related to steam - deleted the ClientRegistry.blob file - deleted everything in my steam folder except for steamapps and the steam.exe - executed the steam.exe so I got a fresh new install - drank some coffee - unplugged my router - checked my firewall settings - disabled my antivirus program - drank some more coffee - Registered to the steam forums to see if I get any troubleshoot there - sent a message to steam support (no reply though) Any thoughts?

I think it´s a joke. I read something about a fake-petition to the US-government in a german magazine. Must be because it makes no sense. They should ban Total War: Empires so nobody can be kidnapped...
