My kids play minecraft too, but even on my old, old rig (the one I used for Ghost recon) with a geforce 7600 in it, it runs fine..... My daughter has a Core 2 duo 8400 with the 8800 GTX and 4 gigs of ram, my son has the oldest rig a core 2 duo 6600 with the geforce 7600 GT silent My youngest son has an old laptop from work with an intel centrino and 3 gigs of ram, I believe it'll run on that too.... (all pc's run Vista or windows 8)

haha, had some nice stuff, a picture of my youngest son, a book-page reminder with a picture of my daughter and a pencil with my name carved in from my eldest son (they dont do stuff in highscool, so he made it up....)

yer right I never used the top components but just one tray lower, keep in mind that you want tolook at the socket. Rather take a lower processor on a new socket so upgrades stay avaliable than fall for a cheap bargain with a better processor that cant be upgraded later. Read into the developments at Intel and you'll know what to buy. Good advice is avaliable at hardware.info (A dutch site also avaliable in English)
