Pringle~SPARTA~
So, I awoke this morning to find my iPhone laying on the floor in a puddle of "water" seemingly provided by my dog's bladder. A question for after I've finished mounting my dog on the wall.... does that rice trick actually work? Is that the best tactic?
Yankee~SPARTA~
Its one of the few tactics ive actually seen work. However, its still a crapshoot at this point. if the phone has had time to sit and moisture mad it internally, your chances of saving the phone may be slim. peter~SPARTA~
turn it off, remove sim card, place in the bag with demoisturizer (silica ,rice w will do) close the bag and pray. Live it like that for day or 2. Problem is , even when you dry it out there is no guarantee all connections will work properly due to corrosion. Ideally would be to disassemble unit and clean it with alcohol but you need tools for that, manuals are available on youtube. NoScream~SPARTA~
What 'peter' said, but it takes days/ 1-2 weeks for the moisture to be evaporated, bag it with crystals/rice & leave it in a warm place (20-30 degrees Celsius). change the rice or crystals a week in. The problem with the iphone is that it's pretty well sealed.

Steel~Sparta~
Try this... 1. Trade your I-Trash and an Android (I recommend the EVO 4G) 2. Kiss your dog, he just did you a HUGE favor.

Yankee~SPARTA~
I'm pretty sure any phone would be ruined by dog piss. Fanboys exit stage left....
Donziboy2
FYI, dog urine/feces is acidic. Don't use them for fertilizer either they kill plants... The dog itself may be good for fertilizer thou.
