  2. UBISOFT® ANNOUNCES TOM CLANCY’S GHOST RECON® WILDLANDS OPEN BETA, COMING FEBRUARY 23-27 GATHER YOUR SQUAD OF UP TO 4 PLAYERS AND START THE FIGHT FOR THE WILDLANDS OPEN BETA TRAILER: DOWNLOAD HERE + London, UK — February 16th, 2017 — Today, Ubisoft® announced that the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Wildlands Open Beta will be available to all players from February 23rd to 27th, 2017, on current-gen consoles and PC. Players eager to jump into the Ghost’s boots and tame the Wildlands will be able to pre-load the Open Beta starting this Monday, February 20th, 2017. Each player entering this Open Beta will get access to an exclusive mission – the “Unidad Conspiracy” mission, in which players will spark a war between the Unidad, a local corrupt militia group, and the Santa Blanca cartel – by playing the full game before March 31st, using the same Ubisoft account. The Open Beta will introduce players to two provinces among the 21 of the final game: Itacua, a flourishing and mountainous province where the grip of the cartel is looser, ideal to perfect your sniping skills and get introduced to the Wildlands. Montuyoc, set in the snowy Altiplano, and the second province available in this Open Beta, is much more challenging – players who have suppressed the Itacua bosses will gain XP and skills boosts allowing them to face this dangerous area, home to Santa Blanca elite training centers. Players can of course confront Montuyoc right away… at their own risk. As in the full game, all the content in the Open Beta will be playable with up to three friends on the same platform via four player co-op, or in single player. Players are free to utilise a large variety of vehicles, tactical equipment and weapons to get the job done. Set in the largest action-adventure open world ever created by Ubisoft, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands takes place in Bolivia, a few years from now, as the country has been turned by the vicious Santa Blanca drug cartel into a narco-state. Players are tasked with eliminating the cartel by any means necessary. The massive and responsive open world encourages a variety of playstyles, allowing players the freedom to choose how they execute any and all missions. The Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands PC Specs and System Requirements have also been announced today, please visit Ubiblog to get the full details. 7. just click the IMG box on the right side of the photobucket page, you're probably trying to put the .html url into the IMG tags rather than the the .jpeg [URL=http://s224.photobucket.com/user/Athlon64sparta/media/20160722_064235_zpsugecrp0r.jpg.html][IMG=http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd126/Athlon64sparta/20160722_064235_zpsugecrp0r.jpg][/URL]
  8. IE doesn't like the quick reply at all, you can at least add your URL in the full reply page, but it won't finialise the post. Edge will accept the URL in the quick reply but wont finialise the post. didnt try chrome as someone already tried it. any use to anyone?: https://www.invisionpower.com/support/kb/_/ie11-copypaste-linking-and-quote-issues-r58

  10. hopefully it will be a success and MS consider a full release of Forza in the future.
  11. not exactly what some might hope for, but interesting step from microsoft. free to play, cut down version of the xbox version. i'm sure there will be stuff to pay for but no announcements as of yet. i'm sure plenty peeps would happily pay for a full fat version but... microsoft... :/
  12. was in the same situation Pringle, and i didnt always want to power up my pc to access things, went down the same route as JHunter and picked up a Synology (414). i think NAS hardware is overpriced considering you get a low spec machine i think this is dual core 1.33GHZ with 1GB ram, but hey that's good enough for what it does, it is just expensive if you compare it to a PC. then you will spend a fair amount on hard drives, i coughed up for 4x3TB WD Reds, friggen closed my eyes when i clicked purchase haha, but they have a 5 year warranty at least. benefits over a windows box for example for me is that that it looks after itself and i don't have to install, configure, update, manage it etc, all the stuff that you want like remote access, or access via android app is all setup using a couple of clicks, web server, FTP, cloud, itunes server, bittorrent, vpn, wordpress, email server, plex server, all these cool little apps all built in or downloadable from the synology app centre, auto PC backup, DLNA.... my TV picks up the NAS on the network and plays .mkv files straight off the NAS, no media PC needed anymore. need to share some stuff?? right click on the file and it will generate a link to share, all dead easy. im just a big fan of the OS and functionality. heard great things about FreeNAS but never used it (last i heard, it can take some setting up) other software to use on own hardware : http://lifehacker.com/what-operating-system-should-i-use-for-my-diy-home-serv-1671385076 you can even use the synology OS on your own hardware its called XPEnology some peeps use it with HP microservers http://homeservershow.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5406-run-synology-diskstation-on-your-microserver/ HP Microservers seem to be pretty highly regarded in terms of price / performance / size terms http://n40l.wikia.com/wiki/HP_MicroServer_N40L_Wiki https://www.avforums.com/threads/hp-proliant-microserver-n40l-owners-thread.1534144/ they are usually around £100 on a regular cash back offer with HP, they have finally got to the Gen 8 microservers which look pretty good to http://homeservershow.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5639-proliant-microserver-gen8-links/?p=62151 . most seem to upgrade the ram and also add hard drives. example of deal and useful user comments further down the page: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/hp-proliant-gen8-g1610t-microserver-179-99-ebuyer-119-99-after-cashback-2177468 https://www.reddit.com/r/usenet/comments/2wfvpn/help_with_nas_decision_synology_disk_station_on/ friend uses a WD external drive that has MYCloud functionality, and that suits him fine (backing up docs and photos). http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.aspx?id=1140 hope that's some food for thought
  13. had the buzzing with Abit and Asus boards, was never a fan of onboard, used to always use creative cards, but fell out with them when it kicked off years back about that guy who was unlocking all their features with his modded drivers, it turned out they wanted you to spend more money for those features with their more expensive cards, knobheads. i always use an external DAC now, and no way going back to onboard or addin card. only problem I have is with microphones but that's a different story XD glad u got it sorted Rocky, thats the kind of problem i'd like to get stuck into
  14. just out of interest Rocky, does it happen in any app that you scroll in, or just your internet browser? tbh i've had that myself, and also just moving the mouse around on one system I had was enough to give a little buzz in the background, but there is so many different fixes (dozens and dozens) for it when looking around on google. the 1 that i remember working for someone at BPR was the mouse smoothing option in the browser, but even then it seems that for some it works turning on and others turning it off fixes it haha. /edit, if you cant find info on this then maybe i'm not looking for the right issue?
