Seeing BF3 launches this Friday in Europe (28th October) Once a week, a set of Urban based maps (Subway Metro/ Grand Bazaar/ Seine Crossing/ Damavand Peak) Two rounds each, one each way, with hardcore settings as specced by DICE, in their docs with game. Focus is infantry CQB warfare, therefore all vehicles are off. (except humvees) SATURDAY'S around 2100hrs GMT / 1600hrs EST / 1300hrs PST so we can get most players Turn up and play system. 32 players, 1 week USA server (have to ask/talk to MH6 if he's interested), following week UK server. turn up and play. If the idea is over subscribed, the UK server has 64 slots and can accommodate all. Just a friendly get together, the server decides placings on teams Rolling match 4x 2 rounds.... If you want to get a feel, the UK server is set to the HC settings below already.... Only one player required to launch the game..... 24/7 Legion of Sparta (UK) London ====================================== mode=conquest. (and if it works, then TDM) both ticket counted. FF=ON KILL CAM=OFF MINIMAP=ON HUD=OFF 3D SPOT=OFF CROSSHAIR=OFF (OPTIONAL) NAME TAG=OFF MINIMAP SPOT=ON REGEN HEALTH=OFF SOLDIER HEALTH=60% BULLET DAMAGE=100% VEHICLE RESPAWN=OFF SQUAD LEADER SPAWN=ON MANDOWN RESPAWN TIME=100 (OPTIONAL) RESPAWN TIME=NORMAL (OPTIONAL) Basically these settings make bullets count, auto health is off so only way to heal is with a medic. It's almost like what we are doing now (pretty much identical settings, save for a few things--if the server doesn't decide to randomly ignore settings like it sometimes does), but hopefully more organized and with better team play.
