Halli~SPARTA~
Who was that Geek Squad guy in BDA I bet he could help. I read in my Asus Striker Extreme manual that you could change it in Bios And Not Safe mode, never had to do this so Sorry if this is a post that ....well gives no true answer. Rooster
There are ways to do this but it might get you into more trouble. I'd recommend doing a repair on the Vista installation or take it to a geek. Edit: oh the hell with it, follow the instructions here. Be forwarned that using this on other computers (such as work or school computers will probably allow you to become expelled... or fired). AlarmedBread
I've used this one frequently, be careful and you shouldn't have issues. http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/

PANiC
microsoft stopped the safemode thing many years ago. it certainly never worked for vista. @ firstrock: watchman asked the same question a couple of months back http://www.legionofspartans.com/forums/ind...amp;#entry38890 Edited January 26, 2010 by PANiC
StevenADunn~SPARTA~
Microsoft did not stop Safe Mode, it is still F8, on Vista and Windows
DaiSan
Download This (get the LiveCD ISO (Vista) version) Make a CD from the ISO and boot from that. It will tell you all the passwords for all the users, inc Administrator. We use this all the time at work. If your still stuck let me know and we have a couple of bootable progs that just allow you to change the damn password anyway
Hunter~SPARTA~
Microsoft did not stop Safe Mode, it is still F8, on Vista and Windows 7 I think he meant that they stopped allowing you to change passwords while in safe mode. - JHunter
