Cylawyer~SPARTA~ Posted July 31, 2013 Author Share Posted July 31, 2013 The Matunuck Oyster Bar sits on a salt water pond (really a large sheltered harbor through a very thin canal / neck) near a bridge where you can watch the tremendous current pulling in or out with the tides. On this particular night at that particular time, high tide was just finished and the waters were receding at a very rapid pace back under that bridge and out the primary harbor to the sea.
