We have no power at home, but was called into work because I work for money hungry motherfuckers.... over 1/2 our area has no power... water standing everywhere, trees down and debris everywhere... about 20feet of our skirting came off, but no other damage.

For those that were on teamspeak Saturday evening and night. Me and my wife were invited to go play Blackjack at the Horseshoe in Bossier City, Louisiana. I have never played before and understand that what happened at our table was really rare. My co-worker has tried for a year to get me to go with him to play. I just have been in too much of a pinch to "go blow" money like that. He started out in Vicksburg, Ms. Saturday morning about 5am, He started calling me off and on during the day telling me he was on a roll and we needed to come meet with him and his g/f. Sometime Saturday afternoon he called and told me he would give us the money to come over and play on. Wife said "well maybe in a little while". About 8ish he called back and offered to give us $200 to come over there. We said what the heck, let's go have some fun. Man did we ever. About 3am we started home, we ate and filled up our 91 gallon tank. We came home with over $2,000. All 4 of us sat at the same table and left with over $4,000 combined. Needless to say, we are paying all our bills and getting ready for a part-time job that will help us make more money in one day, than I make in a week. We did buy a Wii ($250).

So from a dumb country boy fromn Louisiana... what does this mean for gamers? faster rigs in the future? lol think that was a given.. just look at the new GTX280

I am beta tester, I had HELL finding friends on-line to race with. I have run several practices, but everyone dropped before racing.

M-F 5:15am, alarm I hit snooze, 5:30am alarm. I am up. Blood pressure meds, Wife her morning Dr. Pepper, shave, shower.. Leave by 6:20, pick up one smart-azz co-worker, then my son. Takes til 7:30am to drive 53miles. oh yeah.... lol

The officer attempted to reset the radar gun, but it would not reset and then turned off. Is it worth the difference? DDR2 1000 vs DDR3 1800 combining Mobo and memory difference $300 Asus prefered. 9800GTX vs 9800GX2 difference $240. BFG prefered. Buying 9800GTX SLI is $50 MORE than one 9800 GX2. It takes 9800GTX SLI to come close to ONE 9800 GX2. E67500 Core Duo vs Q6600 Quad-core. Difference $50. Problem is I need to upgrade all in one big purchase. (Taz does not understand buying PC parts to upgrade slowy). I use to buy exspensive Mobo, low end v-card, memory and cpu. Then as I got extra money and prices drop, upgrade each piece as I went along slowy improving my pc. My old mobo I am on is over 5yrs old, Taz's is older than that. Both pc's are maxed on cpu's, but not v-card. still using agp v-cards. Thanks for all replies.

I didn't know server was in Texas, no wonder I have good pings. I have comcast too, I wasked if and when we are geting the upgrade, they have no idea.

Well I hope my 65" is repaired very soon. I have paid $500 and still ain't fixed. So time for new TV also if things don't straighten up. Thanks, I have been looking at HDTV's alittle just incase. Vizio is one of the prospects. Sony is my #1 choice.

Thanks guys. I was really happy when I was able to play again. I usually only play on Saturdays, but we didn't race last night so it gave me extra time for COD. I really enjoy the maps and friends. ;) I also play on the Sniper Warefare alittle. NEXT sniper Tourny, count me in.
