We will be working on ArmA servers 2 and 3 this morning european time. Hopefully we will be able to eliminate the stuttery performance. During the corrective "surgery" all ArmA servers may go off line. But we will work swiftly.

Good job we will sort this out today. I really like this map but felt it was a shame that too few players could get on so if I played it I felt selfish, lol.

Floyd and I have been revamping the Public Downloads section of the forum. Originally we had links to Filefront.But they have a nyasty habit of deleting files, so the LOSC has stumped up for another site exclusively for downloads legionofsparta.net, Viiiper will dress this up in the future after more pressing projects are completed. The links in this forums download directory are in the process of being modified to refer to our new download site. We are also organising them into more useful subdirectories. We are not infallible, so please report any broken links to me or Floyd.

The original install hadnt worked properly, I found the custom levels folder is in the same place as in XP, thanks for your answers.

Thats where I looked but I couldnt see it. The only folder there is Bundles. Maybe the install screwed up.

I want to set up all my games to run on my vista drive but I dont know where to the custom levels folder is for GRAW2. Consequently I cannot add the maps.

My ex wife was must have been a scientist, she seemed to have fabricated a black hole in her purse, prior to our divorce the black hole encompassed my wallet as well.

I was at my mums hospital when I saw the second plane hit the tower on TV. I had worked across the street from the towers till 98. A good friend and old work colleague who was walking to work in lower manhattan when the plane flew over his head, he thought it was a missile. I tried to phone him when I saw the crash, there was no answer. The network was jammed and no more calls were going through. A mutual acquaintance of ours, who I had met earlier in 2000, had an office in one of the towers, he didnt make it. My mum died 2 months later, I havent forgotten.

Although time may slow relative to the external universe, for us it will be all be over in millisecond. It's all relative, lol. I have been waiting for the schoolboy mispelling of Hadron, but everyone has resisted lol.

As some of you know I live close to the LHC. In reality if things go wrong we all live really close to it, but we wont feel a thing. To learn more about whats going on there I turn to the BBC and another excellent documentary But before that here is a fictional recreation of the experiment And now the documentary, enjoy.

It is an ugly bird. I guess the small wings take over from the rotors when the big turbofan at the back pushes it forward fast enough. There was a concept plane called the Advancing Blade Concept which I thought was an elegant solution but it never took off (it did actually take off but not commercially). Good find. For those of you interested in Helicopters here is a BBC Horizon documentary from the late 80s or early 90's. It is a great documentary with very clear explanations of the development of the "Chopper". The ABC is in this documentary.

The other day whilst chatting on TS, Snowshoe revealed she has just bought a small battery powered device called a Zeno. This could be interesting I thought. Then she revealed that it is a Zit Zapper (as used by Eva Langoria) I chose a forum name I created in my childhood for an essay I had to do. Later I did a Google search for Zeno and discoverd Zeno of Elea (490 - 425bc). I thought this is ok being named for a Greek Philosopher famous for Zenos paradox was something I could live with. I did find the map it was HALO_BlackOp_III_(CoOp1-12), we dont need to remove it just remember not to try it with more than 4 people.

Firstly Seven your input is welcome here. But yesterday was not really one of the hardcore nights. The truly hardcore missions are on Friday and Saturday. Having said that when there are just a few of us we do tend to play more conservatively. Last night we had a lot of players and no plan. We did play the mission like taking a town in EVO but actually less organised. Funnily enough people know what they have to do in EVO and most undertake the required roles without input. As the admin (in control of when the game started) I could have forced a halt to review the map. But I have no idea how to take Mercalillo except if the Tower is taken first. So I didnt propose an overall plan just one for a small group. I have tried this map many times and never succeeded. I would like to do it properly. Lets set up a night where we can agree on a proper strategy for this map.
