Thanks for the advice Custard, but I have totally ignored your advice and gone straight to the developers and bought 1mil pounds worth of shares in the company. As a good will gesture they will fit me out in a tier 10 tank with lights and borbbles, also included in the deal is a nodding santa on the dash. As for the real world I take on your advice and will spend no more monies on the game apart from the millions I already have. And continue to play tier 1 where I am having more fun at the moment listening to Cy, Sam, and yourself as to the tactics of the game. Its a problem with VSync in Desktop mode, most themes in Windows Vista, 7, 8 are enabled by default. Unless you have customized your theme then you should not have a problem. Try looking for this in your NVidia control panel under Manage 3D Settings. And forcing to ON. See if thats works, I know its a 3D setting but your desktop is accelerated by the GPU. Also run FRAPS with the option Monitor Aero desktop DWM and see if its above 60 FPS or above your monitors max refresh rate. Mine for example is 60Hz @ 2560x1600. And 75Hz @ 1280 x 1024. But I always use my highest res.

Just got upgraded today my sig speaks for itself, not as fast as cable but it will do.

This as been stable for about a year now 4.2, have taken to 4.7 and run a 3d mark bench. But hell dose it get hot.
