Durka-Durka~SPARTA~
I love bomb-defuser movies. My favorite was the one with Tommy Jones as the Irish bad guy and Forrest Whittaker, and Jeff (last name?) as the good guy.

MedicSN6
New film I saw a trailer for when I went to see The Hangover: GAMER http://gamerthemovie.com/ For the trailer load the flash and pan left, then click the thing that says trailer. it is in HD and will go to full screen. Looks like a good flick. Reminiscent of Death Race and Death Race 2000 Edited August 6, 2009 by Medic~SPARTA~

Morgan
Hurt Locker debuted in NewYork and LA. It has picked up a US distributor since release and is making its way to a wider market.
MedicSN6
One of the reviews I read of THL said that there are fundamental problems with the military aspect, such as a NCO saluting another NCO. Hmmm... makes me wonder.
Durka-Durka~SPARTA~
I read a few reviews as well, and almost all said their military advisor should've been fired, but it was a "fun ride" nonetheless, and I'm just happy hollywood's finally coming out with a movie that's favorable to the U.S. Military. I was thinking back, and there hasn't been one single flick I recall that's made the Military look even somewhat good since Black Hawk Down, and that was what, 10yrs ago? MedicSN6
Taking Chance was awesome, but still it was about a Marine who was KIA. Along the same lines was Home of the Brave, In the Valley of Elah, and Stop Loss. All are anti war/military in one way or another. But they all try to make the statement, 'hate the war, but love the soldier.' Which really doesn't work. I'd rather sandpaper the asshole of an alligator in a phone booth, than watch another anti-war flick. And whatever you do do not bother with the Vietnam film 'Tunnel Rats' it was terrible and everyone U.S. dies in the end by the hand of VC. The entire base gets over run; they get slaughtered and are made to look like a bunch of idiots. Horrible movie. one I really liked that is now on DVD is Body of Lies. Great film. MedicSN6
Okay, saw The Hurt Locker. I liked it. Made me feel the same way as watching BHD does. I hate we have to be there doing it, but I long to do it again.
GySgt~SPARTA~
watch this netflix movie Dead Snow Nazi Zombies who once occupied the area. Armed with a machine-gun-equipped snowmobile, the gang fights for survival in director Tommy Wirkola's quirky horror, shot on location in the mountains of Norway
Rooster90
Another good one on Netflix is Hobo with a Shotgun. Excellent grindhouse film with some great gore and even better one-liners.
