    Thanks

Just a quick thanks to ZENO for taking his personal time to get my AO ACE2 going. Taking the time to guide fellow members with new add-ons, updates and other 'stuff' is what makes this a real team effort. Each of us has presious little time to do this thing we so enjoy. So for somebody to take 30 minutes to walk me through the install means a lot. Thanks Zeno. You lead by example.
  2. There are plenty of racetracks across the world to diffuse that type of energy. I care little for "bikers" of that ilk.
  3. If the video wasn't funny enough, you had to go and add "Yakkity Sax" (Benny Hill theme song) for some extra chuckles. Well done, sir. Fans want to know when the next installment arrives.
  4. I have passed the written and driving portions of the test. May I have a license? 409280
  5. Although I am really looking forward to the ACE on TACDOM, it's really about the group. All the software in on my machine, but I have not yet attempted to jump on the server. I think waiting 7 days would be in the best interests.
  6. I have gotten this application to operate. It is not as 'shiny' as the old TSO. Basically, some test in the corner. There does not yet appear to be any flexibility.
  7. I used TSO (Team Speak Overlay) in conjuction with my TS2. It projects information on yr screen including who is talking, channels, time and FPS. Apparently there is a version for TS3. I found this at another website: "works in the same way as TSO did with TS2. apparently still in beta but i can confirm that it works in arma with TS3. http://tsnotifier.cfxxl.de/ the install menu is in german but its fairly straight forward and not hard to do. for it to operate you gotta download the ts helper plugin (provided on the download page), install the helper plug in by dropping it into the TS3 plugins folder, then install the ts notifier program, run TS3 and go to setting, choose plugins and activate ts helper, run ts notifier program and run arma... confusion as to who is speaking is now over This is not 64-bit supported.
  8. Very interested in a co-op mission. Please keep us informed.
  9. i too have used this software. it is very strong.
  10. The Friday TAC-DOm is a good place to start.
  11. I had to attend a funeral Friday in near Clinton, New Jersey. We had planned to return Saturday (drive straight through), but postponed due to the weather. As a Floridian that grew up in Chicago, it was nice to get out in the snow. My brother (pro photog) and I got a chance to blow some film near some historic landmarks. Good fun. However, once underway home southbound on I-95 on Sunday AM/PM, there were some roads between Baltimore and DC that were not yet fully cleared. It took us about 3 hours to go 60 miles.
  12. Thanks to Andrewman for the opportunity to run a 3-man fireteam. Pat on the back to Hoot and Radar for making it easy.
  13. Good day- The Public Server offers a lot. Clearly, it is a step up from the entry level co-op because of the excellent map, TS2 requirments and more. There are usually a good number of operators willing to work together. Each brings proper skills and attitude to the AO and are ready to work & have fun. Sometimes, it gets out of hand. It does make gameplay more difficult if you are expecting that higher level of communication and teamwork. Expectations. I don't expect to have the base get nuked. But it does. I don't expect TS2 to have too many expletives...(sometimes little ears in the room). But it happens. So, maybe I move to the Side Mission. Or maybe decide now isn't a good time to play at all. Either way...its time to adjust.
  14. Welcome! The possibilities with this game seem endless. I like it...
  15. Many English speaking people will tell you frustrating the language can be. Regardless, thanks for the intro. See you in-game!
  16. THAT was a laugh out loud vid. Wife had to come see what the commotion was...
  17. I suggest BFC could call for extra pilots to be ATC as needed.
  18. Fire control (who fires and especially WHEN) has always been a dificult part. If I had a nickel for every time I said ROE was RED and somebody made a mistake... The busy comms was partly me, and when I realized I was only hearing portions of conversation, I backed off. MH-6's Bravo Team with Tholozor on point was very effective. The group remained adhesive and efficient. Losing the Cobra early on during the toughest part of the mission was a tough break. Cheers to T-1 for creating a workable battle strategy.
  19. BW- Saddened to hear of your experience w/ GoGamer. Especially since my orders with them (3 to date) have been faultless. The lack of true customer service is appaling, and I intend to spread the word to my associates.
  20. To further my position on the Tournaments... Our group had a lot of discussion about these before entering. As there was no monetary reward-just bragging rights, why not stay at home at play with ourselves (!)? What it brought was an appreciation of teamwork. Teamwork included logistics and planning, proper communications, and individual sklills (snipers, MG, AT players). It ended up making our regular gameplay even more fun. Unexpected. We didn't become a Tournament-focused group, per se. We were always about co-op...the ability to achieve the objective, and leaving nobody behind.
  21. Just finished reading 5 pages of thread regarding this Project. It makes my head spin thinking of what you have put into it, what has been created, and of course the potential. My admiration and thanks seem small, but I send them anyway. Fecking impressive. Wow.
