Hi guys, just found and tested ONLIVE for a few minutes... Very interesting! ONLIVE is this: http://www.onlive.com/ Actually they have a FREE 30 minutes trial on Batman AC and I gave a shot on it. It worked great! No lag, no issues. I am sure the quality depends on how strong is your Internet connection. There are no indicators about connection quality to the Server providing the game (neither ping nor color codes), so you just have to hope you get good results. I actually did. This can be a very interesting solution... Definetely an interesting alternative... Give it a shot

Hi guys, so.. I was troubleshooting that issue with the Batman game, and came to my attention this weird thing: The tech support guy asked me to let him know how much Video memory I had from the Dxdiag info and it displays 748MB. His first objection was I didn t have enough video memory to run the game. Then I explained I am using a Radeon 6970 with 2GB ddr5 mem, he didn t know what I was talking about (well, I am talking with tech support over the phone, what I do expect??).. but my memory is 2GB and not 748MB. Do you know why I have this weird display? Do you have the same on your ystem if you call the dxdiag command? Please let me know

Got the Software package from FileHippo and downloaded and installed perfectly. The one coming from AMD site was flagged as a virus and when tried to run it it was reporting an error message as a damaged digital copy. Weird stuff.

really can t say what is wrong with it. I tried all of the possible reasonable troubleshooting and is the very first time it happens to me to install a game and it not even starts Process running for 5 seconds and then drops dead from the Process list. EA refunded me and I am ok with that. I also did read so many bugs from the WB forum it scared the crap out of me. It really seams that game needs a massive patch for PC version to get on "par". I am so disappointed, but now I will definetely wait for at least the first official patch before even think to get close to that game.

After A Tech Support session with EA rep ( I have to say very nice guy, maybe not a genius, but quite professional), he tried many different solutions to have the game at least starting, with no success. The happy ending is a full $25 refund. I nuked my Batman copy and I am happy like this. I will get it as "Evaluation Copy" later on, when possibly they fix all of this crap. There are tons of complaints on the Batman Forum, so.. definetely tour friends, Rooster, can call them very lucky It sucks, i enjoyed the first alot but this one is gonna suck for a while. Furthermore is not even compatible on DX10 or 11, you HAVE to run it on DX9 compatibility (console port kinda shit). I got my money back.. now waiting for Assassin creed revelation At least I got to keep the $10 coupon

hey guys, I am downloading the new drivers and I have all sort of weird messages: IE9 doesn t even allow me to download them (from ATI site) saying they have een reported dangerous Chrome warns me about the same issue but allow to download them and finally run them When I run them there is a sort of "file mismatch" error like when you download a bad file and installation don t evenstart, like a part of file is missing. Did you installed them? do U have an install file to share ?

Well, this game is completely fucked up. Not even able to start on Win 7. It seems is a "known issue", there is no Patch out, IS NOT PUBLIC, SO YOU BUY AND THEN YOU CRY... Most importantly, boght from Origin, WB support says they do not support Downloaded copies from EA - Origin. Their suggestion is to contact EA and discuss (their shit) with them... I already see 25 bucke flew away with no joy... Meaning next game for me will be an happy Pirate Copy.. I tried to be a good boy and buy original, they just don t deserve this shit...

Well, I think there are "opinions" and some frustrations ongoing on developers as welll, not only on the gamer side. I am sure Devs are concerned about piracy but as MH6 and you too Rooster know, what s really matters is the quality of what you do. Further more after quality come the playability. Actually in my opinion Ubisoft has one of the most beautiful and accurate games franchise: Assassin s Creed. I don t think Ubi had to complain about Assassin creed on PC. I am sure many copies were pirated but I am pretty sure they made enough money with the trilogy, otherwise... there was no trilogy.. plain and simple Business is Business, is something doesn t pay, they simply don t do it Assassin s Creed suffer of some "porting" from console, sometimes controls are weird for PC, but overall to me all of the work behind scene pays the little bit of annoiance. Is a masterpiece game and I am sure it has good revenues. Maybe not all of their productions are so high quality. Maybe they have games that are specifically for consoles. Honestly I would prefer not having a game on PC at all, better than having a crappy Port, just because "they had to do it". On the other end, I don t know of ANY game is so excellent on console to make me think to buy a console because I can t live without it... Buttom line.. I was not aware of a such "drama'.. but honestly i don t even give a S**t about it

Why Steam is not the only solution out there? because God Bless Competition Open your Origin and check the Black Friday deals... I AM SO TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! However this is the standing point of a mature player, is not the standing point of an Industry based on profits and curve of interest. For a large part of user/players out there, one of the most compelling motivation on BF/CoD MP is to show they "have it bigger than yours", which is demonstrated thru the "unlocks". Their curve of interest is massive during the few hundreds hours of gameplay because they have unlocks and the "player Ego" is gratified because they got the unlock earlier than you. This is massive population. If you pull this factor out of the BF/CoD marketing strategies, sales would be way different. On the other end, it make no sense nerfing gadgets either, although I do understand, no one is perfect and is possible designers made balancing mistakes with some gadgets. Due to the fact they get unlocked later on in game, you cannot really "beta testing" 3 or more million users behave about a gadget unlocked later in game. Therefore adjustment may be necessary. However, this is the common policy on ALL games with a massive pool of players. Producers say "we listen to our users" and modify shit.. I mean, who really cares... The massive Income for the opening sales has been already achieved. Starting now is just residual income, can be fluctuating... just do something to keep the community rolling.... DaiSan.. at this status of fact, doesnt make any difference if you (and me and whoever else wanna join) are part of the respectable "minority"... they already got our money ;)

Very good find Haji for that chrome extension. Thanks, I am using Chrome to play BF and I never had a problem to connect to the BL. Sometimes when you have issues with not opening crap, take a look at your Processes (ctrl+alt+ del) and check if you have multiple processes open at once (like multiple IE.EXE) close them and then try again. I sometimes cannot have the game starting (from BL) and then I always find a BF.exe instance open in Process, I kill it and then the game starts fine.

I actually enjoy watching many shows he hosts and at first i was thinking he was a pur asshole, then i learnt way better his charachter.. and i have to say, he is great guy, with a beautiful family, with some personal sides you would not think about... and is a total Cooking Genius! He does what he does with extreme passion, has no patience for ppl who don t cook with passion and they think to be good. I do understand his point. Also, he is very blunt, but that is a great way to make money on TV shows ;) very smart person However, he is blunt, but he speaks the truth... when he "offend" another cook, well.. really that cook deserve the acidic comment...

Funny enough, it requires to have a SWTOR login and password to redeem the code, I don t have it. It seems the screen to Create an account is actually broken... There is no way I am able to create an account. After 10 minutes of frustration I gave up. A game withthe Account creation already broken, really do not deserve my attention. hey guys, just in case any of you has friends interested... I convinced a friend of mine to take a look into Arma, and he was at BB today... he got the full pack (is not combined Ops, it has another name but has All in One solution) for just $4.99 with BAF and the merc company as well ! A hell of a good deal I d say EDIT: I am afraid my friend got reinforcements, which is only the 2 expansion pack. So no mega-deal.. just mega bullshit with that confusing marketing BIS use to have..... Edit 2: WOW ! it s a real deal! He got a weird pack i never saw before.. It is called "Reinforcments" but it comes with Full Arma2 OA, plus the 2 exp BAF and Mil Comp. So, it was priced 30 bucks and he got it for 5 !! Cannot join our server because we have Arma2 + Arma2 OA (combined) but he can join any other server with A2 OA .. that s pretty cool !
