happy to see this guys !!! here's what you should download: 408 & 409m (both official) + HSFX mod 4.1 After each install/update, run your game to see if it's working. HSFX: http://www.242sqn.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1920 HSFX mod has the Korean Theatre stuff in there (map, sabres, migs, etc.) That's all you'll need for now and most online players are using that version. with the switcher (found in your IL2-root, JGSME.exe) will easily allow you activate/deactivate all the mods in there; as well as a 'clean official 409-version'. for those who don't know, HYPERLOBBY is the program used to fly online. you can find me in hyperlobby as 51stfis_SPARTA tell me when you guys are gonna fly, sothat I will be there as well. ZATHRUS, MAKE SURE YOU'RE THERE TOO BUDDY !! YOU'S MY WINGMAN :pilot:

evil, am using trackir too and prior installing FC, I was able to assign zoom in/out with a slider on my throttle. now, with Flaming Cliffs installed, trackir on, this ain't possible anymore. any ideas?

bought and downloading flaming cliffs now. will install it tomorrow or next weekend. cheers !

looking forward to it. installed lockon today (though don't have flaming cliffs --yet) and trying to set up my gear (saitek x52 pro). let's get this thing going !

I used to love US NAvy Fighters ... damn, how old is that game?? anyhow, I still play IL2 1946 and recently mainly the korea theatre ... with Panthers (f9f-2), Thunderjet, Mig-15, Sabres, etc. Lockon is kinda nice too, but high/steep learning curve.

I have arma 2, had pre-ordered operation flashpoint, have DRIFT, ... and ofcourse IL2 1946 !! what I'm missing is time damn, I even have COD4 (or is it outdated already? )

they're throwing it at you for 10 USD (or even 5 euros around here, Belgium). if there's enough interest, I'll post what mods you need (still 409 b1m is the most compatible with all the mods and maps)

eventhough probably no-one is playing IL2 anymore, official 4.09 patch is out. I'm actually flying jets now (Korean Theatre), still on the 4.09 beta version though. I can't stop remembering the good old coop days though. C u all around!

video removed (but easily found using google). anyhow, cheap version of trackIR I guess ... for who doesn't want to spend $150 + on trackIR, go for it. I can't fly without TrackIR anymore ... I'd be completely lost

enjoyed the game last night. Damn it was 3.30 am when I went up .... Daughter awake at 7 am ... Anyhow, will keep improving my heli-skills which I enjoy a lot. (info: setup is Saitek X52Pro, Saitek Rudder pedals, TrackIR)

interesting, if it indeed improves the game ... does it, really? what about maxmem, do you use 50% of your actual mem for the amount? thanks

copy arrived, installed, patched. ready to go for tonight. don't know what time though. first thoughts: runs MUCH faster than arma 1, though experiencing some lag times every 10 seconds when flying + sunglasses are white ...

hope to get my copy soon as I'm looking forward to it. Have an E8500, 4870 (512 MB) graphics card on a 24" screen, 8 GB ram ... so I guess (or HOPE) it will run smoothly.

just ordered my copy on amazon :-) to be honest, was a little tired of all the patches, mods and updates for arma 1. hope we won't have that again in the future. see you all around
