  1. Pfft. I've got more hair than him.
  2. You just know that they work in IT.
  3. Unlikely. It runs like a donkey heading for the glue factory. When I said runs, I meant barely (16 FPS Everything low). What I did find surprising was it doesn't seems to be much worse than ArmA I'd still be looking for a new PC to play it on, and finances won't reach to that.
  4. 16 FPS on a PC which according to the box shouldn't be able to run it Everything on Low, unsurprisingly.
  5. The demo even runs on my clapped out PC

  7. Earliest I'll make it would be 2000 GMT
  8. Anyone around tonight to give this a spin?
  9. Zebb I'm aiming (pardon the pun) to set Saturday night as my main gaming night. See you all then

Great games last night, sorry I had to go (early?) but the kids were having a rough time last night due to the unseasonally hot weather. I'm gonna have to practice my HALO jumps, not that any of us will ever be as good as Zebb
  11. See you in the server soon
  12. Last night was a lot of fun. Like many others I need to practice my halo jumps, but it's getting there. The mission was good. Nice approach, good execution. I think everyone without will agree that we were so busy hi five'n and trying to get the few stray guys that when we got jumped, we should have been long gone. Still, as custard said, lesson learned. Looking forward to some more of that quality.
  13. I must get more sleep, i read the title of this thread as "I have gone on recon for weaps and chips."
  14. LMAO 3:16 "Please don't kill me, please don't kill me" 8:30 "Your gonae wipe that wee guy out". Too funny. Apologoes if no one else understood them, but trust me it is funny Wonder if she's been round the track on a hehehehehehehe

    Mission Tonight?

Well that was going well, we ditched the "Fifth Man" made it to the little bridge, and lost Dai to a connection error. Custard, Durka and I pressed on figuring we wouldn't get far anyway, and we we're right. Took out the jeep at the rope brige as it was trying to do some serious off roading (which again didn't show in the completed objectives) and then I got whacked while checking the map, Custard got hit too, and durka managed to get a couple of bad guys before they found him. Good effort tho guys.

    Mission Tonight?

Doubt I'll be around this weekend, got family visiting.
  18. Purchase of game will depend on computer setup at the time, probably the Swahili version will be out by the time I get a PC capable of running it.

    So it's a comedy you're making ? Or dare I say a Greek Tragedy .... ... I'll get me coat.
  20. My apologies to those on server four last night for my abrupt departure from the game. NKOTB was suffering quite badly from trapped wind, and I was dispatched to Asda (Wal Mart) for some medical supplies to ease the poor little fellows suffering. Quite what my wife thought when she decided to have a baked potato with Chilli for her dinner I'll never know. The map looks cracking tho, would have loved to have spent more time on it. Maybe another time.
  21. The problem is that all three of my drives have a XP profiles on them. It's probably better in the long run to wipe everything and start from scratch.
  22. I might have a couple of hundred quid stashed aside by June. Anyway the decision may have been made for me, my drives started playing up last night (honest guv) so I'm going to copy all the files I need to an external hard disk, then format them and re-install XP.
  23. I probably won't be getting ArmA II when it released, partly due to the time I'll have to play it (limited) and the fact that I'm still running a single core 2.8Mhz processor. I can't justify buying another PC at this time, and would be looking to buy, possibly near the "Optimal" requirements for ArmA II. I've been running ArmA on what I regard as a below spec PC, and at times it infuriates me, as some of the missions are obviously written with a machine far more powerful than mine. I'll be interested in what response you get Durka as it will help me in the long(er) run too.
