Twas a time before christmas and "Breeze" was pissed ! He cussed out all the admins, and had a big hissy fit. Miserable old adults and ungrateful little jerks, I have a good mind to scrap the whole fucking works. I've pretended to bust my arse for damn near two years, Instead of "Thanks Breeze" what the hell do i hear ?. The admins all bitch because I'm dictating at them every night, I'm never around to sort out all there little petty fights. Changing the icon is a head screw, but you wont be able to give several drives all different icons. It don't work like a folder and changing an icon does. The best thing i can suggest is label it accordingly and give the slave a unique drive letter, Thats the best thing i can suggest and easiest for you. Can't speak for the Usa to Uk, But i have purchased and received in oz fine. You can work your way around the tax if you really want to that's not difficult. The only issue you can get grief from is a warenty exchange as you usually have to post back to the original vendor unless the parent company has an agent in your country. however purchasing from another country is all good and wont be an issue.

New Nvidia cards due Nov ... So they say on some places. The reported 98XX cards will blow the current 88XX cards away like double the performance and entry price is believed to be under $600 US. So .. Yes you might be wise to wait till after X mas. And i doubt you would see any great improvement from 512 to 1024 ram ... It's all E-Penis factor for kiddies .... However Crysis is not out and tests are yet to be conclusive.

For what it's worth to run water cooling ..... Personaly i would just buy a better cpu and stick with air. The clocking potential with water is only slightly better. Look for a q6800 on ebay. Consider looking at the new nvidia cards coming soon 98xx .. 2 x 8800's would be expensive option. With water cooling i suggest you do lots of research FIRST ... Or you wont get anywhere near the performance you might think.

Well this is going to be either ya like or hate it game. I played for several hours tonight online and had a ball owning the dumb shits, here are examples of how below. A - Strategic placement of mines .. especialy proximity ones ... They run through a doorway near objective ... boom ... owww shit dead again. B- Scoped assult rifle on top of a location .... many heads to pound before they find you. C- When defending ... find a spot you can see the objective and cap heads from a small out of the way location ... again many targets to maul. D- Again when defending use your deployables and mine there progress routes. Now some bad points ... The screen gets way cluttered with text at certain points ...makes it hard to view the battle feild, However opacity might help here and time displayed. There is an abundance of annoying voice binds ...these i need to remove as well. The bunny hopping is not that bad even with my 100 ping i had no trouble disposing of many who tried. The game is very fast paced so no time to dawdel about looking at the scenery. All in all at this stage i would give this a 7/10. I am yet to get on a team who ALL work as a team ... Learning the maps is also a must do but it is fun to play regardless of the problems i listed, Graphics wise looks nice sound works too well the game runs smooth and out of the box is more "Finished" than many other games i have played. I believe it needs larger maps and more deployable's and win scenarios, if the community get behind this game and make something of it .... It will be popular. If you want to do a comparasin just for grins ... Graw 2 ... Under 1000 players online at any one time, QW on the other hand which has yet to be released in the USA has a few thousand online already and this will grow. I would not say it's going to be as good as Crysis but it's new and fresh content and a nice change from all the usual dull wana be m16 wielding running n gunning regular Army style games we have seen in the last few years. If you have any interest in this game ... I suggest you read the links i put up and find out what is actually in it and how the 2 sides are very different ... then consider it if you like what you see and read. This game is nowhere near a FLOP ... but it wont appeal to everyone make your own call. Maybe i shall see you in a game one day. Postal, Purchase a decent HD and pop it into something like a Vantec Nexstar box, You will save lots as the already pre made Maxtor or Lacie type externals are more expensive. Vantec make different connection type from usb to firewire 400 and 800 and even E-Sata. Another point ... Seagate have 5 year warrenty on there drives most others are only 3 years. Can't wait to shoot you all down in IL2 also ..... L8R

I reinstalled AA today after a long time (3 years), This game had issues when i played it last time thus i found better and moved on. However this new version of a FREE game was a 3gig d/l and has lots of new content, surprisingly enough the maps are far bigger and the terrain is exceptionaly good. I have only joined a coop game so far and proceeded to get wasted by some very smart AI. The scene was jungle and was it hard to spot the enemy. Looking fwd to playing some more coop as i think it could be quite fun. The game also ships with a mission editor so creating maps may also be a possibility. Hosting is also included in the d/l. If your looking for some variety ... Since it's free i do suggest you install this and have a go. Coop on first impression was worth it alone .. Stay tuned as i shall add to this thread to let you know more. Maybe a few Spartans might be interested in some AA coop BTW - Just so you know i have completed all the training modules so i am only restricted by honour now .. I'm a dumbass and had to start almost new as i can't remember my other account password, So i lost a high honour rank and this limits me to the number of servers i can join.

Arr crap ... What do you say. The imortal part is not good at all, The player indicator will be coded out in a patch or mod like in previous types, So that part is not so depressing. Being new there will be the element of just running around like mad, did you actually see anyone trying to work together and complete objectives ? ... I wonder if the maps are big enough now. Well we knew it was not to be Crysis ... This will fall in it's shadow. Still apart from the morons he only was disapointed by a couple of aspects which will be coded out in addons or patches, the player icons you can turn off server side i think ... not positive. Oh well ... maybe my experience on monday may be slightly better won't hold my breath however.

Hawk, They may not be correct readings unless you used a proper probe, Or maybe you installed it incorrectly as this GPU cooler is a killer when tested at Tom's on an ATI 2900 against many other brands. The HR-03 came out almost 17 Deg better in the tests compared to any other model of cooler. I would be having a closer look at the readings you obtained as this does not seem correct by a long shot compared to user reviews and the shootout for this cooler. Don't mean to be negative but stock coolers suck compared to anything i have used and heatpipe coolers are some of the most efficient available today. I would be investigating this further with an email to Thermalright support as well. Setup difficulty as you would want on your server. hit Fly. Mission loads - exit. Go to Users\Doe directory in AEP and open up settings.ini file. Scroll down looking for [difficulty]. You will see two values net and single. Take the number under the single= and put it into server confs.ini file under main section...so it will look like this: difficulty=*number that you generated* Save confs.ini and you all done. *********************************************** Start server by itself and make sure that map loads normally and everything is ok - no errors. Go to your gaming machine and start AEP. Go to Multiplayed and choose to join a server. Type IP address of your dedicated server and click join. Pick around see if you can join all bases ...etc etc. When that is done, proceed to Hyperlobby. When Hyperlobby starts and connects....disconnect from it, but don`t close it. Hold down CTRL and SHIFT keys and click connect. Game path selection window will pop up. Enter path to your il2fb.exe : C:\Server\il2fb.exe and click Save. Join HL again and you good to go. Keep in mind that difficulty settings and ammount of players are not controlled from Hyperlobby, you will have to define all that in the confs.ini file as i described above. For those who behind hardware firewalls, port21000 has to be authorized for TCP and UPD, otherwise nobody will join. Sometimes you might have to forward traffic to particular IP, but that depence on the router type and network setup. Strictly individual matter Big Grin Attention to those Who is running Stand alone Pacific Fighter dedicated: Above instructions are applicable for both, Merged and Stand alone, with exception of installation part. Stand alone Pacific Fighters server, current version 302b Does NOT require preinstalled dedicated 204. It`s a full blown server and ready to go. All you have to do is install dedicated 302b and then install 302b new exe and you are all set.
