  1. Hmmm, Rocky... Not to be the resident nay-sayer here, but that looks like a jet and it's contrail over a time lapsed image. I meteor in time lapse would be a might quicker than that I'd imagine. Though I am no expert here and I could be wrong.
  2. For what it's worth, (though I cussed Steel and Athlon more for fun than anything else) I fired one round per second, other than the time it took to change mags. I wasn't firing for accuracy per se, though any shooting you want to hit your target. Rather, I was shooting to familiarize myself with the weapon. If I need to use it in defense, it will be a quick pull and multiple shots fired, not a steady aimed one at a time shot like you might do if you were qualifying for some contest or attempting to score a very accurate round of fire.
  3. Fuck both of you two. I challenge you to get that grouping. Show us your proof. 15 yards is 45 feet with a pistol is a damn good grouping. Especially considering that ten of the lower 12 shots were with the instructor's gun which was a match .38 shooting wadcutter ammo.
  4. I had concealed carry permit class this morning and as a part of it we went to the range. I shot 50 rounds of range ammo plus 4 rounds of hollow point ammo (to see the difference in how that ammo would feel, since it is the hollow points that will be loaded for defensive purposes), then the instructor handed me his weapon (a .38 cal match pistol with a 5 round magazine) and two mags to shoot. That ends up being 64 rounds total. All rounds were shot at 15 yards (45 feet). All 64 rounds hit target. You can count the holes yourself if you don't believe me, but take care as some are double holes (you can tell by the slightly peanut shape). Here it is: Not sure which picture is better, so here is a second picture:
  5. Paddle holster as worn. Magazine holder as worn with easy loader attached (neither of which will I normally wear). I hope you enjoyed the photos and I apologize for the glare in a few of them. Wife positioned me in front of the window with glare in many of the photos. So far, I am very happy with this purchase, but it hasn't been fired yet and I go to the range tomorrow for concealed carry permit class and to fire it some for fun.
  6. My fat ass in my work clothes with blazer: Exposing weapon in paddle holster. NOT A FIRING STANCE, I REPEAT, NOT A FIRING STANCE! I was just pulling it out and starting to initiate the holding position for firing, but the wife snapped the photo before I was sighting down the weapon.
  7. Apologies for this view being a bit fuzzy, but what I am trying to show you is the little bar behind the chamber on the top of the slide. If a round were in the chamber, it would flip up from the slide at an angle. Looking down the sights.
  8. Extra grip backs (they change the size of the grip so that you can somewhat customize it to your grip) Another couple of views of the paddle holster The weapon with the Slide pulled back and in the locked position with the magazine removed (two views) This view shows the pin indicator (when it is visible as in the photo here, the gun is cocked and ready to fire, though it may not have a round in the chamber)
  9. Easy loader (assists in depressing the magazine spring for loading ammunition (for women and the weak)) Magazines Magazines in the Magazine holder/carrier
  10. Ok. Last week I made a purchase due to some hazards in my occupation as an attorney. Take a peek: The handgun is a Springfield Armory XDM .40 cal 16+1 4.5 inch barrel (M stands for Match, it is a Match barrel) Paddle Holster
  11. Are you sprting too much? A little drip going on? Get a shot and shut off that clap! You can keep it role, but yes, I'd SH it.

  17. Nether is really good. I recommend it, but they have always had validation problems. I'm sure you've checked your junk/spam email, but you can go to the website and request validation be sent to you again and you can open a ticket if that doesn't work.
