MedicSN6
As Alarmed Bread linked to in a topical BF3 thread... http://www.actofvalor.com Watch the trailer. I think this is going to be an awesome 30th birthday for me, as this film is releasing February 17, 2012. As for the dog tags which I happily obtained, I think they kind of cheapen the message of the film and everything these guys stood for. I wouldn't have attached a video game to this film. Durka-Durka~SPARTA~
Cool movie. How the hell are they active duty and allowed to be on film, when they won't let anyone take a picture of them without those square sunglasses?

Maybe these guys are no longer active in the field but are instructors now. Just a guess.

It´a Holywood movie with actors but with active seal members behind the scene to ensure it´s made as authentic as possible.

The way they described it, I thought the actors were SEALs.
Watchman~SPARTA~
"The characters in this film are portrayed by active duty U.S. Navy Seals" Although, as I commented in the original thread, it seems hard to imagine active servicemen being involved, it's pretty difficult to interpret the above words to mean anything else. Dictionary definition of portray: 1. To depict or represent pictorially; make a picture of. 2. To depict or describe in words. 3. To represent dramatically, as on the stage. 3 is the most relevant, given we're talking about a movie but pretty clear in indicating the Seals are the actors????? Durka-Durka~SPARTA~
I guess after Transformers 3 and Generation Kill they got the big head, huh? lol That being said, I'd rather have SEALs portraying SEALs than Charlie Sheen or Colin Ferrel
