Batwing~SPARTA~
Hey guys, If you are using a 69xx, the CCC has now an AutoUpdate option, however when i check for updates (I am using 11.8) it always says "your version is up to date". Did you notice that ?
EMT~SPARTA~
I can't help you Batwing. I do recommend downloading Driver sweeper and installing fresh if you are having any type of problems with ATI Previously I had problems bringing up the Cataylst for ATI, so I did a clean sweep. Solved the problem. Driver 11.10 did a lot of great things with BF3. I saw a noticeable difference between 11.9 and 11.10 . Definitly recommend yall upgrade if you haven't. Will help you get that edge on people that have lower FPS.
Batwing~SPARTA~
Actually, since a few months (2 or 3) ATI drivers can be Safely be installed "on each other" with no need for any sweep. Further more, using Driver Sweeper result to me on ma major issue, as I documented here: http://www.legionofspartans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=7827 Driver Sweeper seriously messed up my machine and I am not gonna use it anymore. It has to be somethng related to the new ATI driver structure. Reason why you do no need to unistall and reinstall drivers anymore. I updated succesfully to the 11.10 version but i didn t test them yet and I don t know about specific improvements yet.
AlarmedBread
When you run the new install programs it uninstalls the old drivers first. I have not used driver sweeper since win7 came out.
