MedicSN6
A very cool piece of kit. When will this be in ArmA 2? http://www.army.mil/article/67318/_Ironmanan__a_game_changer_on_battlefield/

Donziboy2
The folks at NSRDEC substituted a MOLLE medium frame for the ALICE frame. The ammo compartment now uses polycarbonate plastic instead of the original tin. Until NSRDEC can come up with a simpler, more cost-effective substitute, the ammo will continue to move through a 27-inch-long, $1,710 feed chute designed for the CROWS, which the Guardsmen had employed. $1710 The cyclic rate of fire of 711 rounds per minute..... So you can empty the damn thing in under a minute...... Just think how much .223 you could pack into something like that Edited October 20, 2011 by Donziboy2
Rolf
This sort of set-up would be very fun in Arma2 for sure! I think the backpack ammo concept thingy has appeared every now and again for various guns. Here is a version for the Armalite A-10 shown in the video below (It gets introduced at 12:47ish but the clearest view comes in at the 13:00 minute mark): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lap8cmxJHTU&feature=player_embedded#!
