I'm guessing he's holding up either a captured rifle or is making a joke of M-16 pron. There's a knife duct-taped to his stock for C-sakes. His real weapon is on his back, and those guys look pretty hard so I'm going to assume they know a thing or two about killing. We had a dummie mount a scope like that when we got deployed. After making fun of him, he confessed it was for "spotting" targets. "Wel how are you going to aim the thing once you spotted him" we asked.
