MedicSN6
Interesting concept, but one person can save the same amount of energy in one day that blackle.com can save in six months. Turn off all the lights in your house when you leave, and fix any leaking faucets. If everyone does this, a ton of energy could be saved. Also check out the lightbulb thread I posted a while back. adder360~SPARTA~
i good idea, but as medic said there are better ways to save energy, like just dont use your computer. so far acording to the site it has saved £10 ($20).
Punisher~SPARTA~
I actually just made that my home page because its not so bright. If i get on my computer in the middle of the night for some reason, the black google doesnt hurt my eyes as much.
Sopris_EBDA
I am sure if everyone that uses google daily used blackle there would be a difference. But you really don't see google pushing it at all. I do like it better though because I am sick of the yahoo & google white

Durka-Durka~SPARTA~
I had to laugh at this one. Sorry, but c'mon. There are much better ways to save energy, or at least produce cheap, clean energy. This is like deciding to open my door only half-way when I leave my home rather than fully so the tiny bit of heat doesn't leave.
StevenADunn~SPARTA~
That might have saved money on a CRT but that means sqat to an LCD or plasma! The people would save more money getting rid of the CRT for a newer Flat Screen
