WOT 8.8 MODS UPDATE & XVM (26th Sept 13)

Big changes happened in 8.8 regarding the programming language & location of mods, mod files & interface from WG & XVM.

So this thread just lists links & info to help you out.

 

 

I'm working on my XVM config file in the newer XC format that came in on XVM 4.0

When finished you can download it from here if you want or use one of the many configs by other players.

 

XVM will be 5.0 when released but currently it's in development under the title

 

XVM flex 4.1

using the python language to interface with WOT via API (application program interface).

 

You can use it now if your brave prior to official release.

Description:

I do not know how to label this mod, in fact, it is the sight, but it has so many features and options that fit to call him build mods.

Everything looks pretty futuristic. Although the sight of any side does not claim to realism, but it can satisfy even the most avid hardcore. And if you do not like it, then you definitely need to come here , there is definitely a sight for these realists :)

I played with gusto and soon noticed that shoot guns became more accurate, although it may be "dancing with a tambourine" (self-deception).

The mod can be edited by yourself, changing MeltyMapModSetting.xml files in a folder and MeltyMapProtractorSetting.xml res_mods \ 0.H.H \ gui \ flash, everything is signed parameters (thanks to the player KrIvEdKA).

Opportunities fashion:

  • Minimalist and efficient sight;
  • Beautifully animated;
  • Automatic DAR for artillery (angle barrel projectile flight time or the like);
  • Dynamic circles depending on scale;
  • Reload timer;
  • Displaying the power zoom in sniper mode;
  • Armored enemies and reservations given the distance;
  • Color probability of penetration and angle for penetration;
  • Expands the mini-map additional features;
  • Zoom;
  • Timer charge the enemy;
  • Range of visibility, by default, 445m, customizable;
  • Line of sight to the sector mini-map;
  • Calculation of the effective armor in the line of sight;
  • UGN for art and PT;
  • Orange warning of the end of the battle;
  • Real-time clock;
  • On Ctrl card appears on the center which is convenient when switching sectors or mark (can be disabled);
  • And much more;

DOWNLOAD HERE:

1.Unpack

2. goto your \Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods folder

3. over write your current xvm folder

 

Or rename your current xvm folder to xvm_bk

 

Then copy the (NEWLY DOWNLOADED & UNPACKED) xvm folder to res_mods

Updated: 15 sept

 

Font over allied & enemy larger

increased shadow around font to stand out

changed allied green to more olive (less bright)

Made Tank panel icons more transparent (80% old 100%)

Reduced large panel width by 20px

 

 

 

 

 

Removed Roman numeral via control panel in Game SETTINGS see pic
