Phisher~SPARTA~
Apparently Hacking is now becoming extremely common in ARMA 3 (as expected): Just making sure everyone keeps an eye out if we have any public servers. Having a hack free semi-private server is a guaranteed way to keep people playing.
KalXen~SPARTA~
BattleEye isn't active on the Alpha, hence why they are running into more of this issue. A lot of the server is the same ole sqf technology from Arma 2, so I'm sure the hackers didn't have much work to do. Until its released, I suggest that we keep our server private at moment. Denny
I for one, enjoy a serious game with mature players. They seem to be harder to find as of lately. I'm really likeing Arma3 and hope to participate in many upcoming sessions. I hope I can keep up with all the mods being added every day.
custard~SPARTA~
When we go public as long as we have a fly drive approval list (hint MH6) I will be helping to moderate, the ppl who hack or mess about soon learn were they can misbehave and were they cannot. Skaz~SPARTA~
Just to clarify, the turning into seagulls is the server telling you that people are not running the same build.
Lightspeed~SPARTA~
yep BIS ppl confirmed its a bug not a hack
MH6~SPARTA~
yep BIS ppl confirmed its a bug not a hack Correct, the seagull bug is just that--a bug. However, as Kal said, with BattlEye currently disabled, hackers will be running rampant. So it's best to leave our servers passworded until such a time as BattlEye support is provided.
