Apparently Gallente are much more drone combat oriented when running missions and so on, so Im filling in some blanks while Im between some really long skill-ups to do some level I and II basic stuff... one day id like to run missions of some sort..just finished upping Battlecruisers to II or III so I can get a decent mission ship one day. Will fill in combat skills here and there as time becomes available, between the long haul skills...

Seriously...my guy mines. nearly all my skills are for mining/harvesting. Just moved up to TechII mining upgrades for my Hulk and Ive been workin on my Drone skills as well. So, its comin along.

My vid card renders stars in night vision as huge polka dots. Navigating by splotches might be fun tho.

I think people are upset because of the announced price hike. Pre-orders are not locked in prices. More importantly, it just shows a trend in pricing in the gaming industry.

I dont mind forking out 40.00 - 50-.00 for a game but if this is the wave of the future I wont be playing many more games.

I used to play the original 8bit Activision Mechwarrior game. For its time it rocked! Only problem was, it was created before the advent of timing loops... so if you tried to run it on a 486 DX2/66 like i did, for example, the mission was over before it even started, with an explosion and flash of color... since the game would run at the clock speed of the computer... So, replayability wasnt that great.. but back on my 8088XT 4.77mhz (640kb RAM) speed demon (it had a turbo switch to go to 8mhz!) we played that game endlessly.

100% Correct. And all those list selections Ath posted are just various driver packages. No such thing as a Vista only motherboard.

Re-format and re-install windows from scratch. Stop downloading pron. XP patched up to SP3 is very stable. Run defrag and checkdisk or whatever its called in XP. Check for bad sectors. Stop downloading pron. Re-install your programs. Dont re-install pron. If you get BSOD's at that point then your drive may have physical bad sectors and they need to be mapped and blocked out. Dont install the WIn7 Beta, install the Win7RC. Dont download pron. If your blue screens continue then you may have a flaky stick of RAM. There are various utilities available to monitor and check RAM performance. Lots of possibilities, none of which include downloading pron.
