The Chachapoya-town consists of no less than 420 round buildings, including temples and tombs.

To protect themselves against wild animals in the forest, built the Chachapoya's a stone wall height of 25 meters around their city.

That is today still the largest stone structure in America.

And that, my friends, just goes to show how badass Americans have to be to live in this land. In Europe they were building castles to keep away invading armies. In America, they build castles to keep away killer llamas, jackalopes, and chupacabras. :United_States:

Of course, the Chachapoya lived in South America, not really near the U.S. They lived near the Amazon headwaters in Peru. I think.

 

In Europe we are taught that there are 6 continents,its pretty much only you guys that chopped your own continent into 2 and later in 3.
