EL_n00biachi
Acer Aspire Ethos 8951G - Core i7 2630QM / 2 GHz - RAM 12 GB - HD 750 GB + 120 GB SSD - DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM / BD-Writer - GF GT 555M - Gigabit Ethernet - WLAN : 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 - fingerprint security - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit - 18.4" widescreen LED-backlit CineCrystal TFT 1920 x 1080 ( Full HD ) - camera I want to show people ARMA 2 lol play some other games as i take it to my bro and nephew, watch some movie's and most importantly run a ARMA 2 server on it....if it runs ARMA 2 good i will run the server on my C2Q 9550 desktop. Reading reviews all of them state that the normal HD sucks cause of the 5400rpm....but running a few games on the SSD should make it better, right? Batwing~SPARTA~
I am not too strong on Mobile, but the specs on this one seems very nice. The 120 GB SSD will be good enough to ensure you can install some speedy program (read games) on it. I think you just should google a bit the performances about the GE force 555M and the CPU i7 2630QM, just to see if they are solid enough to support demanding graphic (read kick-ass games) With an 18", this one definetely should be within the "Desktop-replacement" class. I had good experience with Acer in the past but you might take a look at a possible ASUS competitor, Asus is very good as well.
MH6~SPARTA~
The 555M is at the lower-end of the high-end mobile graphics cards ( which may not be a bad thing, as the top of the high-end is filled mostly with SLI setups) http://www.notebookc...List.844.0.html Seems like a good laptop, not the best you could get, but the best you could get is also going to be very expensive. Edit: See this for CPUs - http://www.notebookc...ist.2436.0.html The 2630Q is pretty high on the list.

MH6~SPARTA~
Go for the ASUS G74 man, you will not be let down. http://www.tigerdire...sp?EdpNo=637440 I don't own this laptop (I didn't even know it existed), but I own the G72 which was released a few years back. It is a behemoth of a laptop, and great for gaming (though when I say behemoth I mean it, it's fucking huge and kind of sucks for things like school) As the G74 is the successor to the G72, I'd recommend it. The graphics card in it is pretty damn good, and if it's anything like the G72, it'll be affordable and well worth the purchase. I got my G72 for $999 at Best Buy. Skaz~SPARTA~
I got the g74, What a beast! it packs the punch, it is totally a desktop replacement, but it is sorta portable, if you find a big enough bag for it. lol
