custard~SPARTA~ Posted October 5, 2010 Share Posted October 5, 2010 I've tried this with a Medic and an Engineer so it shouldn't be role specific One person can do this on there own, take weapon from ammo crate (eg AGS-30) put this on your back and then take the tripod this must be in your hands. To deploy use key between right windows key and right Ctrl key, this brings up a menu (just like it does to put in earplugs, goggles etc) select to deploy. In your gear menu put weapon in hands and look at tripod, press right windows key to interact with tripod. Go and get some ammo and blow stuff up, there is NO AMMO in my ACE playground mission yet ROFL. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SirSmokalot Posted October 5, 2010 Share Posted October 5, 2010 Let's be specific, you can only do this in ACE. Not in OA. Medic (game classed, not mission makers player classification via variable name) cannot carry the tripod, or weapon since they don't have a slot for a backpack. ACE has changed that along with ability to carry tripod in hand. Hope this clarifies this ability. Many times did myself and Jack try to do this and most of the time he was playing as a game classed medic ( they have medic backpacks on the charachter).
