DaiSan
I was looking through my digital albums tonight for something totally unrelated and happened to browse through the pictures from our holiday two years ago. We went across for 10 day's and did a tour of Normandy and had one of the best holidays we can remember even though we spent a large part of it in tears of awe and respect for the brave men and women who gave their lives or well being so that we can live the privileged and comfortable lives we enjoy today. These are just a few of the photo's that still bring a tear to our eyes even now. To all those brave men and women from all nations, I humbly salute you and I WILL REMEMBER. Bayeux Commonwealth Cemetery Normandy American Cemetary and Memorial (Colleville-Sur-Mer) I Hope you enjoy and take a second to spare a thought for those we lost. custard~SPARTA~
Did anyone read the Times today they had a story about a battle between Oz,US,New Guinea and Japanese forces, it was a recently discovered site jaw dropping stuff. My Father in law goes to northern France almost every year I keep meaning to go with him to pay my respects. I feel the same way Dai.
