Athlon64~SPARTA~
Can't see paying $1000 for a cpu that will be obsolete in the next few months. I don't care if its gold plated or diamond studded. Im waiting for AMDs new one, wicth will also use tri channel ram. Ram does go up and down in price, They better be carfull not to be doing price fixing like some outher folks got caught doing on lcd tvs and ram. Once I get the buggy done im looking to up a bitt. NoScream~SPARTA~
Can't see paying $1000 for a cpu that will be obsolete in the next few months. The point is, the CPU was bought JULY 2009, 8 MONTHS AGO, since then the prices have gone UP and most shocking is tri channel RAM which has DOUBLED in price. When I built my RECESSION PC, I went & got all the bells & whistles.... compared with today, I'd be paying alot more.... I thought prices went down, apparently not.... WANNA BUY some tri channel I got 12GB spare..... $100 a 6GB block, seriously thou, watch out because prices don't seem to all be going with the flow...... andrewman~SPARTA~
That's good advice, do you think they have hiked up the price of some components to reduce others to be competitive?
Athlon64~SPARTA~
Well its smart not to buy ram right now. That way the market will flood and then the prices will fall. Sounds like theres some price gougeing goin on. May be we should report them to the fair trade commission. Then They will get fines and loose all the profet from it. They will send elliot ness and the fbi over to rough them up. LOL, The gold plated chips went platnuim. \LOL! KalXen~SPARTA~
Other than the factory fire in China a year ago, I can't see any reason for the prices to go up. In fact, I think the prices should be dropping quite a bit in the future due to new tech.
