Zeno~SPARTA~
I am just upgrading my 2nd machine to 8gb ram and 7 64bit. This machine had the 1305 bios which had been excellent and very stable. Unfortunately I kept getting BSODs with the new ram, so I put the old ram back and upgraded the bios (using asusupdate for windows) to the latest 1901. This did the trick. As a bonus it also let me format a 1.5 tb drive (which 1801 did not allow). So if you are a striker extreme owner (I know a few of you) and you are thinking of going to the max ram for this mb you should flash your bios to 1901. 1801 works as well (thats what I used on my other machine) but cannot format very large drives, although it can read them if they are formatted. Hope this helps save a few BSODs. Cheers Z
