SALVAGE Made easy

All ships destroyed in the game leave wrecks. Wrecks contain modules that survived the destruction of the ship it originated from. The use of salvage modules on a wreck can give special salvaging materials to the pilot attempting it. While regular looting of a shipwreck will not require special skills or equipment, ships equipped with Salvaging gear have an increased chance of recovering ingredients needed for manufacturing rigs.

 

 

 

Skills for salvaging

 

Salvaging

Proficiency at salvaging ship wrecks. Required skill for the use of salvager modules. 5% increase in chance of salvage retrieval per level.

 

You need to use a module called Salvager;, the basic skill requirement is to have Salvaging at Level 1. In order to train that skill, you need the following skills:

 

Mechanic Level 3

Survey Level 3

Electronics Level 1

1 mwd

3 sensor jammers (multi-spec unless you know their sensor type then specialise)

Destroyers are best for Salvage.

Set it up for speed and bit of tank so you can jump if required, Stabs in lows also, Volume is not the issue here it's speed ... Try keeping up with myself and another in a L4 Q35 mission, 2 of us clean house in L4's. We will be in room 5 before you finish cleaning room 3 unless your on the game and have a Destroyer set up.
