As most of you know I had a dual 5970 configuration which I exhaustively tried to make work. I finally tossed in the ATI towel and crawled back to Nvidia. Not only were the micro stutters an issue, but the driver support or lack thereof just wore me down. Prior to my dual 5970's I was running dual 4870 X2's (another 4 GPU configuration) which I only updated from because they did not support DX11. I am enjoying solid out of the box performance once again from my GTX 590 (yes another dual GPU) which I do not experience micro stutter with, it may be there but I do not see it. My fallback rig has dual 5870's and i do see it there. EDIT: I think it is important for me to add that the only reason I went with a dual GPU's is that your not able to achieve a tri-panel configuration in the Nvidia world without dual GPU's.

Excellent presentation of the facts Vii, I would expect nothing less to be completely honest with you. I have been saying this for years and I constantly had to defend the technology (not because I am a fanboi but because it is sound mathematics). I always say "If you can afford to embrace a new technology, do so, it guarantees technological advancement"

Hello brother Batwing! Here are my thoughts on this post: MOH A great game with an AWESOME single player campaign. The missions are believable and because you know that real Tier 1 guys were consulted during design, it does nothing but elevate the mood or authenticity of the game. Multi-player - More of the same as it relates to a military twitch shooter ala MW2, BlackOps, COD, BFBC2, blah blah. But keeping things fair, MOH does a better job of MP than BlackOps as you have the Frost Bite engine, which you may remember in Bad Company 2. Much more realistic ballistics and resupplying as you have to go to the ammo deposits not have a magic box dropped at your feet. The battles feel more real and gritty and being chopped with an hatchet is humiliating. Dead Space 2 A great Sci-Fi story and the ability to use cool weapons while being exposed to awesome visuals. This game scared me so many times that I was jumpy in real life after playing it for a few hours. The single player is top shelf and very fun. There is only one thing that hurt the SP experience, the game's save option which requires the player to make it to a specific location in order to save your progress. So when you have that extremely difficult area that took 20 mins to complete, be prepared to doing a few times before you can save and move on. Multi-player - This game does not get enough love in this category because there are not a lot of people that realize how much fun it is. Think of L4D/L4D2 mixed with Aliens vs Predators, in that it is humans against monsters (or monster against humans if your monster pre-disposed), this game allows you to be a kick ass Human with high tech weapons or you can be one of the very specialized alien/monsters and pounce, rip and spit on the humans. MP Co-Op is a blast too as it forces a group to work to together to achieve the objectives and some very scary but funny memories will be made here. Final Thoughts MOH - Great Military shooter with an AWESOME single player experience. Same old same old MP but with large community actively playing. DS2 - Awesome Sci-Fi shooter that will scare the pants off of you, challenging and memorable. Fresh MP experience combined with Co-Op and Adversarial but with a smaller online community. Hajimoto's bottom line - You have BF2, BF 2142, COD, MW2, BFBC2..... You've have plenty of these types already and BF3 is coming! DS2 for the WIN!

When I watched this video of the downhill race in Chile, I just couldn't help but notice of a few things. Please note the the pile of trash and rotting garbage on the street corner just to the left of the launch area. You know a course is dangerous when you are required to wear the suit that you'll be buried in 0:03. Confirmation of ghetto as abandoned car is used as part of the boundary fence 0:12. Not sure what language the rider is speaking but you can clearly hear "Get the fuck outta the way!" 0:36 Obviously a previous riders unscheduled exit point on the left 0:52. For a split second I thought the rider was supposed to go through that pipe 1:22. Nice day for a ride along side an open sewer system.....Mmmmm the smell of rotting feces in the morning 1:24 - 1:30. Why is the guy on the on the right zooming in on the riders junk???? Whats up with that?!?! General note: Please observe how the highest concentration of spectators are always directly relative to the stunt variable that has the highest penalty cost if failed. Makes you wonder why someone would want to personally witness a dude bust his skull open on the corner of an adobe brick wall made from sun dried donkey shit and piss mud.

Blizzard learned from WOW that there is a huge following of players that play 1v1, 3v3 and 5v5 competitive PVP battles (see here). D3's PVP was icing on the cake for me and I was seriously interested in the PVP aspect until the announcement of the auction house. The auction house will completely destroy PVP for this game as it does nothing but validate what i have said about MMO's for years "He with the most time and money, wins". As a former longtime WOW player and versed PVP 3v3 and 5v5 player, knowing that I will face twink teams or L33T groups that will buy the best gear in the game while I and my friends enter the arena with our weak common drop gear, doesn't excite me as a fair playing field. What made D3 awesome was the random drops and random dungeons that my buddies and I explored together, so for me D3 without the PVP is really all I want anyway. As for the must be online to play, I am not sure about you guys but i am absolutely fed up with trying to have fun gaming without being exposed to freaking cheaters. Every first person shooter we try and play is ruined by these aim botting, wall hacking ass hats, I for one applaud the fact the Blizzard is trying to stop the hacking and cheating that was absolutely out of control in D2. The auction will all but eliminate the non stop flood of adds that existed in D2's lobbies as well. If playing D3 means I will have to be online to play then guess what, D3 will be a game that I will have to be online to play! LOL. I mean waiting for weeks for a table at Spago's in LA is because the food IS that good and the clientele even better, I say "D3, table for two please!" Num Num Num

Well its like I said in the KOTCC Podcast #10 and again in Podcast #14, I am dead set against the early press statements that Origin pre-orders were going to experience exclusive in game content. I was not going to support a company that penalized folks for buying the game elsewhere. This coupled with the fact that STEAM may not sell the game because the game violates STEAMS policy that all Patches and DLC be offered through STEAM exclusively. The other day it was officially announced that BF3 will NOT be sold on STEAM. Retail here I come because I am not at all interested in having multiple digital download managers installed in order to play my games. I have a substantial investment in one digital download manager and I am not interested in another. Hey Best Buy...... WHATS UP SON!?!?!

I would love to participate in some flying or some blowing up, I don't care which as they are both fun I can assist Mon-Thur anytime after 4pm EDT, Friday anytime after 11:00am EDT or SAT-SUN anytime
