Game Stop Has A2 Combined Arms in the Store. Ordering JUST OA online, it will not be available (according to their sight) till July 6. $10 dolars differance in the OA and the CA. And a post note to those who buy CA and already have A2, you do not have to uninstall A2. Just instal OA (two seperat disks here) and go for it. Makes one link to both games from within your Multiplay menu.

Any idea of who will be distributing it here in the USA? I prefer a hard (DVD) copy as to a download.

I'm playing it and it's a great game....for a "Console Port". But believe it or not I don't hold that against them (UBI). I don't hold it against them that ALL the command and control references seem to be towards the Console Game Pad. Nor that I had to pay $10 dollars MORE for it than normal (economic times I tell myself). Nor that they have set it up where a SINGLE player game HAS to have internet connection to play. After ALL they have the right to protect their property any way they can (other than invading our computers without permission). Other than those few samll things....GREAT game. Love it.

Be glad to talk to you on our vent....see below....or I can come over to your TS3 and talk to you. But we do have an ArmA 2 coordinator, Kshaufl. who you most likley should talk to. I'll be glad to add myself any where I can help though.

Just bumping this.....I kind of realise with the release of Bad Company 2 that many players are currently other wise involved. So this is just to let you all know AGE is available when you guys are.

Our AGE Clan would like to invite the spartans to a PvP (dates and times to be established between leaders) possible with the best out of three games for the winner. If I might jump in here. I've been looking around for a solution to a problem we've come apon in our AGE Dom Server. We've added a few vehicles to the Dom list and all seemed well till they either crashed or were destroyed. The wrecks though there (were ever they came to rest) were not showing on the maps. Where would we look for this and how would we change it to reflect on the map where the wreck is so we can recover it?

We've been playing the ACE Beta over on our Clan server for a moth or two now. It has potentual but also plenty of heart burns. Obsticals not neccissarly problems, to over come like Stamnia and load outs. But Yes Fast Roaping was fun but in the versions we've been playing it seems to have been pulled. But then I have not checkec this latley to see if it's back. Some problems still being addresserd, if your an Air Jocky is the Hellfires not getting a lock on. And only Pilots have an advantage when flying and pulling Geeezzz.

Funny you should mention that (loading the vehicles). We dropped in a Humvee and loaded it up.....and as you said.....while we were in route....we were taken out by the enamy.....and NOT to the Prom....LOL. @ Bsilenced & AlarmedBread ..... no rambos here (in our clan, if you don't count Slugger....LOL) but it is a learning curve for most of to see WHAT we can carry and still get the job done. p.s. Don't worry about those ArmA 1 things.......I know we'll learn to play as it is. It's just our way......Thx though.

Your point has merit. And it offers a fair comprimise. But it would appear that your group spent quite a bit of time weeding itout in ArmA 1. And suggestion on where we might start would be appreciated in a PM perhaps.

I can only hope I've placed this correctly. Greetings to all Spartans and their supporters. I haven't been on latley since interest in ArmA 2/ ACE 2 have picked up within our clan. A couple of questions though. First Iwould have PMed this to the appropriate party if I knew where to direct it to, but perhaps some of you can help me. Two things ....1) How can the ammop.vehicle/artillary (119) drop be changed from chopper to c130. I think this is cool. 2) with regards to ACE 2 is there any know way to disable or at the very least select or unselect using the stamnia in ACE 2? It really does slow down a rather long game a great deal. Our clan is"Dealing With It" as everyone else is, but in my tired old mind since I'm old enough to have a REAL heart attach I don't need one in game too. This seems to be a returning topic over on the Bohemia sight's ACE 2 thread but I've yet to see a response. Perhaps I wont.
