None of the above, I checked for extra activity, there was nothing running, i checked for internet issue and my connection was at full speed, 10Mb down, 1 Mb up I tested right now a game on a european server I was used to crash several times, my connection was steady at 171 ping and i never creashed... I ll search for servers with higher ping and I ll test there.

Hi, I never had a crash till yesterday. Now is crashing just after few minutes playing, but I noticed it is happening if for some reason connection deteriorate. I have no problem playing on local servers with ping below 100, but possibly there too I may crash if my ping spikes over 180 something. Although some servers may have a ping capping, I should be kicked in that case, instead Crysis just stop working. I ve been playing a lot on Matchbox Gold, good ping, always below 100 but then yesterday I noticed a spike in my ping up to 240 and there started crashing, 5 crashes in a row after just connecting to the server. Today I tested some european Server, pinging 185, I can connect and after less than 5 minutes playing I crash. Solid. If I connect to a good pinging server i have no issues. Anyone else noticed this, is a know issue or it s just me ? Thanks.

I didn t suffered any crash so far and the game MWLL is pretty solid and this hotfix is also very welcome. Funny thing, this MOD works better than Crysis itself. Crysis is crashing on me in single player campaign quite often, no apparent reason, while MOD is solid rock. Oh well, I don t care about Crysis that much so i m pretty happy so far

Alright, I am TOTALLY IN ! got the game, installed everything and it was a breeze ! Working perfectly on my secondary PC, e6750 OC 3.3 Ghz, 4 Gb ram Win 7 64, Nvidia 250. Not an hitch so far, some minor bug in game but system is solid. About Win 7 64, it does not requires any compatibility mode. Installed Crysis + 1.2 and 1.2.1, tested to see it was working fine, it was all good, then installed MWLL and all nice and smooth.

Why don t you try the Torrent? It is working great, I am downloading at 1.1 Mb per second ! (megabits not kilobits!) I would never be able to get that speed on a normal mirror, where usually max speed is somewhere around 650 Kb/s In 14 minutes my download will be done. give it a try, if you need, install Utorrent (one of the best clients out there) and you are set to go

@CyLawyer: oh I see what you say.. but you r confusing the "virtual XP Mode" with the normal compatibility troubleshooting. Home Premium does not come with the "vitual XP", which is a mode creating a virtual machine running a full XP copy. That has been created for business mostly to allow to run specific old applications on XP. However that "virtual" mode is not for gaming. It does not support gaming at all, so it does not make any difference to you.

Yes, it has it and will give you options for XP SP2 or 3, plus compatibility to Vista and... win 2000... So, you are fully covered

I onestly don t understand about issues related between patches in 32 or 64 bits. First of all, majority of games are 32 bit and also majority of applications are 32 bits. Windows OS in 64 bits just install and use any 32 bits program seamless. Some games allows a choice running in 32 or 64 bits, using a different executable, so just be sure to run the 32 bit version for full compatibility. Most of problems are either "operator's error" or driver issues. Win 7 also solve a good 90+% of issues through the compatibility mode, so i would not be afraid about having the game working at all.

Zathrus, I am very curios about this game, although I do not have Crysis (only Warhwead version and i heard is not gonna work on it). Would you be able to write a lil more about the "feeling" ? how commands react, if you were able to use a joystick, how the feeling in cockpit is and other stuff part of your experience. Very well done Also, to simplify further more, you can consider this: Many standard Routers like Linksys, D-Link etc. already come with a restricted of DHCP address range. You can check that on the main page of your Router settings looking at the DHCP info and most probably you will see something similar to "DHCP Range" field. Usually these routers give 50 addresses to the DHCP and they are"usually" between 100 and 150, you will see that info on the router "overview" page. Once you understand what is the range your router is already using, you just want to assign an IP address to your machine outside that range, following the Viper instructions. This way you do not mess up with your router settings (which still requires a somewhat advanced understanding) but you just set your local machine address. Enjoy

I mean, a "stretching" issue is only related to the correct resolution. Set the right resolution (1600*900) on the windows desktop and ALSO on each and every one game you play and you are set to go. On the other side, if you are unable to set that resolution, it depends on your videocard. You never stated what card you have, but being playing quite demanding games, I do assume you have a decent videocard and any decent videocard allows a resolution of 1600*900. 99% there is nothing wrong with your monitor. If after setting correct resolution you still have stretching issues, "could" be the monitor, but is quite a seldom situation.

I was just suggesting the best way IMO to enjoy this show, then if you don t have an IMAX theater close to you, well that is something we cannot solve, but if you have, I do suggest you to chose that experience However this is a movie you are going to enjoy in any form !

ok, Im not sure if you solved your problem already, however your monitor is a plug n play device, so it does not require any driver. Problem you have is probably due to the fact you installed your new monitor on your computer just switching from the old monitor (different resolution) to the new one and Win 7 did not recognized the monitor on the spot. To solve the stretching issue you have to be sure to set the resolution in win 7 accordingly with the max resolution of your new monitor, so called "native resolution". I do believe your resolution has to be set on 1600*900. To do this on Win 7, right click in an empty space of your desktop, then click on the menu where it says "screen resolution" and from the appropriate scrolling selection be sure to choose 1600*900. You also have to be sure to select this resolution for all of your games, modifying your settings within each one game. If in a game you do not have this res, just choose the closest one. That's it, you will be able to enjoy your neew toy with no stretching ;) Have fun

hi guys, I was thinking about the javelin implementation in Arma 2 and it seemed to me quite 'simplified". Then i found a post on BIS with these info Watch this video to see what a proper Javelin in ArmA2 would look like. Imagine the IR post processing layer in there as well and you get an idea. This video is the best reference on YouTube to what the gunner sees when firing the real thing. and then i found somewhere else is a MOD to make Javilin a bit more realistic. Are you planning to use those implementation or you like to keep the javelin the way it is ?
