NoScream~SPARTA~
Spotting in bf3 When aiming at an enemy, press back space / select / Q (default), this marks the enemy for your team mates. When shooting at a spotted enemy, aim slightly below the orange triangle. SPOTTING @5m57s
Yankee~SPARTA~
I was wondering why i could see some enemies but not others. You're such an insightful guy!
NoScream~SPARTA~
Spotting works for all classes, as far as I know the only pre requisites are that you spot with the sight/ scope, any type holo, 6X mag, reflex (that means you have to actually aim) ... and that the target is visible (or partially visible) http://www.dsogaming.com/news/battlefield-3-beta-updated-tweaked-3d-spotting-icons-and-framerate-stability-among-the-fixes/ While aiming, press 'Q' on a PC, the enemy is marked on the mini map & in 3D There are two types of spotting, 2D & 3D. 2D is map spotted, 3D is in-game spotted (on the battlefield). Rooster90
You can just have your crosshairs on them, but that really only works at close range (within 50 feet or so). Also, if a dude is spotted and lying behind a rock, shoot below the dorito anyway. Edges of rocks have no-clip in the beta, can shoot right through the top foot or 2 of them. Fixed in full version obviously, but it's fun to kill camping attackers behind rocks.
