Halli~SPARTA~
Well I broke down and bought the PNY GTX465 1GB but at least it is the Black PCB which is a 470 just dummed down I have used the Asus Software to unlock the Stream Processors from 352 to 448 and I got the Black PCB so if I Load a 470 bios it will accept them. Pikey~SPARTA~
Ive heard the 480s run really Hot, and u could get x2 460s to sli a bit cheaper which aparently run alot coolers. dont quote me thou.
Halli~SPARTA~
The 480's have a better heatsink system over the 460's but it's not that bad if you have the airflow. Running 3dmark6 it averages 55'c during the GPU test but I also when gaming turn the fan up to 70% and it should help heat the room in the winter . Halli~SPARTA~
Thanks Medic I am or at least have the confidence that any lag is not via the graphics so the next step is to get a quad core so my system won't be bottle necked.
