NoScream~SPARTA~
Key is price, if Nvidia deliver the 480GTX for a similar price to the ATI 5970 then you'll have a bargain, if it's anything higher, then give it a miss & wait.... Batwing~SPARTA~
Remember before you take any decision... Nvidia had a big problem with this chip, is a production problem related to its size and most probably to its heat. They are making a big noise about this chip, but so far the only info out there are very controlled demos. They look great, but they are not real world. Check for a few reviews about how the chip really works in real world especially about the heat before you give a shot to this "new marvel". Possiibly waiit for the card out and real comparisons to the 5970 or 5870. You might ending with a new GPU with problems for the same money or a bit more than a choice for a 5970 which has showed is working flawlessy.
