NoScream~SPARTA~
I'm looking for a webcam for my PC, any recommendations? I've trolled the internet but so many different cams and I just want one that does: 720 resolution (HD) 30 frames per second can rotate through 90 degrees to clamp to the side of the monitor or top. Low CPU overhead. No special drivers to make it work Does not need to be some flash (super) device. Compact.

rtr~SPARTA~
I purchased a Logitech Pro 9000 and it is a vey nice cam with an excellent picture, however, the logitech cam software seems to have sound issues under windows 7 x64 and can hang your PC after a cold boot. The drivers installed by win 7 are fine but you do not get all the special features. There is enough in drivers properties for normal use (zoom, etc.). Obviously this could be an issue with the logitech software and effect all their webcams. I don't think it is an issue for every user, but a few have reported problems on the logitech forum. It's just their way of having a bit of fun, the swines. Strange thing is they make such bloody good cameras - Group Captain Lionel Mandrake name the movie
NoScream~SPARTA~
Although logitech make great mice, their webcams have some issues, mainly CPU usage & video/audio sync. Thanks for the links, but I'm looking for a cam to mount on the side of my monitor as the top area is unavailable due to 2 monitors stack. (thanks for the links so far).
